"Can I go see my mom now?" Izuku asked Bakugou as they walked out of Tsuyu's office. She had said that Hitoshi did a good job patching up his shoulder, but he did have a mild concussion.
Bakugou knew he would ask that as soon as he left, but that decision wasn't really up to him. He had been pushing his luck with Hitoshi enough recently, he didn't want to actually end up dead in a ditch somewhere. "You have to ask Shinsou." He said, already heading towards his office.
With a frown Izuku nodded. He had been half expecting that answer and half expecting Bakugou to not care about the consequences of going without permission. "Yeah, okay." He said, following after his friend.
They arrived in front of a dark wooden door not long after. Bakugou, seeming to forget that he was on thin ice with his boss, pushed the door open right away and they both walked in. Only to freeze at the sight in front of them.
Hitoshi was leaning against his desk, a blond haired male pushed up against his chest. It was a very suggestive position, although the two weren't currently kissing.
Izuku couldn't help the hurt that flashed over his face, which Bakugou had been expecting. He sneered, hating seeing it. "Dunce face, get the fuck out." He said, nodding his head to the door.
Kaminari scurried out. He really didn't have any right to not listen to Bakugou, seeing as he was higher up in the chain of command than he was.
Bakugou grabbed onto Izuku's hand, pulling him over to nestle into his side. Hitoshi was blind if he couldn't see how hurt Izuku was by his actions, and just down right stupid if he didn't care.
"What'd you want?" Hitoshi asked with a tired sigh. Kaminari being there had not been apart of his plan. He hadn't talked to the other male in weeks and him showing up and trying to kiss him had not been Hitoshi's idea.
But he knew what it looked like and he knew how Izuku had to be feeling. He cared, obviously, but he thought maybe it was for the better. He'd be safer without Hitoshi in his life.
"I want my mom." Izuku suddenly spoke up, a small sting in his voice. He was upset and confused. Why had Hitoshi actually seemed to care if he was just gonna go around kissing every other guy? Did he call them pet names to? Did he stitch up their wounds? Did he share the story behind his scars with them?
As far as Izuku was concerned, Hitoshi had no right to keep his mother from him. He had no right to dabble in his personal life.
Hitoshi pushed himself off his desk and walked around it to sit down properly. He still had work to get through. "You can see your mom, but not until I can go with." He said, not wanting Izuku to be anywhere near than woman without him right there to make sure she didn't slip up.
Gaping, Izuku started forward. He dropped Bakugou's hand and the blond didn't interfere. He marched up to Hitoshi's desk and slammed his hands down on the wood. "You have absolutely no right to keep her from me. She's my mom!" His voice was vicious, to the point where Hitoshi and Bakugou were both actually shocked.
Hitoshi threw a glance at Bakugou, "Leave." He said.
After a moment of hesitation the blond followed orders.
"What? You think that because Kacchan's gone I'm just gonna magically let you keep my mom locked up?" Izuku snapped sassily.
Hitoshi already had a headache from the paper work and the chatty blond that had decided to pop in. He didn't really want to deal with Izuku's sassy attitude that he only seemed to have with him. "Puppy, please this is-"
"I swear to god if you finish that with 'for my own good', I will walk right out of here and go to the cops! And don't call me puppy!" Izuku yelled. He was mad and confused. He didn't want to be there anymore. He just wanted to take his mom and leave.
Hitoshi's eyes flared at the threat. He knew that Izuku was just hurt and being defensive, but you couldn't just lightly threaten to go to the cops when it came to the mafia. He slowly stood up and walked around to where Izuku was starting to regret his words.
"She might be you mom, but she's a drunk bitch who's only joy in life is drinking and beating the shit out of you. If I didn't care about your feelings in this, she'd be dead by now, but I decided to be nice." He hissed, grabbing Izuku by the shirt and backing him up until the back of his legs hit the couch that rested on one side of Hitoshi's office. "Now sit the fuck down and wait for me to finish this god damn paper work. Than you can see her." He pushed Izuku down lightly, making him land on the couch with a huff. Then he quickly turned and strode back to his desk.
"You're an asshole, you know that?" Izuku asked in a quiet voice, grumbling more to himself than Hitoshi.
Slamming his head on his desk, Hitoshi let out a groan. "Puppy, just be quiet for thirty minutes top, and then you can go see your mom." He bargained, knowing that Izuku would try to be annoying as possible otherwise.
"I said don't call me puppy." Izuku hissed, still seething.
Hitoshi propped his head up on his hand as he gazed at Izuku. "You seemed fine with it this morning." He pointed out. He knew exactly why Izuku suddenly despised the name, but he had a sick urge to make him admit it.
"Well that was before you had some blond all over you." Izuku said casually, but smacked a hand over his mouth as he realized what he had just said.
Hitoshi smirked evilly at the confession of jealousy. "You know, Kaminari just works for me. There's nothing there." He said with a shrug. It wasn't a complete lie.
"So you've never done anything intimate with him?" Izuku asked with sass clear in his tone. There might not be anything romantic between them, but he had a hunch that they had slept together at least once.
"Nope, I'm not that into blonds." A complete and utter lie. Everything about the statement. Well, maybe not the blonds part, he didn't care about hair color in a positive or negative view. The main lie was the 'nope' part.
Izuku's eyes widened a fraction, completely believing the lie. "Really? Than why was he... all over you?" He asked, letting himself relax, just a tad.
"He's been trying to get with me for years, still hasn't given up I guess." Hitoshi answered with a shrug. That wasn't a total lie, Kaminari had been trying to get with Hitoshi for years, be had succeeded a few months ago and they had been fooling around up until a few weeks ago. Hitoshi wanted nothing more to do with him, not liking the fact he was leading the other male on. Those feelings only intensified after meeting Izuku.
"Oh." Izuku said, a light shade of pink dusting his face due to his embarrassment.
"Yes, 'oh'. Now, will you stop being mad at me puppy?" Hitoshi asked. He was trying to stick to his guns and not explain himself, letting Izuku believe he was a heartless bastard, but he caved. He caved so quick for those bright green eyes.
"No, you still have my mom locked up!" Izuku said, nearly giving in and forgiving him, jumping right into his arms.
Eyes darkening at the mention of Izuku's mother, Hitoshi spoke up, "You know why I'm doing that. I'm worried about you puppy. She could have killed you if Todoroki hadn't showed up when he did."
Izuku was close to tears, almost whimpering. "I know that, I know! But she's my m-mom. She's all I have left." He said.
Hitoshi couldn't keep his heart from breaking at Izuku's words. He stood up with a sigh and made his way to the couch, pulling Izuku into his chest after sitting down. The smaller male didn't put up a fight, just fisted his hands in Hitoshi's shirt. "That's not true and you know it. You have your friend from the café, Todoroki, Bakugou, and I'm sure a million other people that can't resist your sunshine personality." He whispered to him. He had to make Izuku realize he wasn't alone. That he had a support system. That he didn't need his mother.
"What'd about you?" He asked in a whisper. Hitoshi had been confusing him for the past few days, and he just wanted a clear answer.
Hitoshi's breath hitched, but only for a second. "Yeah, you have me to."
