The price of her quirks

I woke up in the middle of the night. My vision started turning a tint of red. "Crap!" I tried to get out of bed fast but failed and sharply hit the floor. I groaned and got up. I could feel myself losing control. I ran to the kitchen and opened the fridge. blood. I needed blood. I grabbed a bottle of blood and chugged it. It wasn't enough. All sanity I had left vanished. I took a deep inhale to smell any blood that was fresh. "Found some." I said to no one. I turned into a wolf and ran out of the house. I could smell blood, a lot of it. I took a sharp turn down the street. I turned human, ran to the house pressed my back on a wall near a window. I looked through the window and saw Shoto.  I gasped. Then pressed my back on the wall again. I took a deep breath and looked again. It was Endeavor and Shoto. Endeavor looked mad and Shoto was hunched over as he coughed up blood. I felt a tear form in the corner of my eye. I shut my eyes and pressed my back against the wall. I took a deep breath and ran home. I could't do anything against the number two hero. I didn't know why but seeing Shoto made me sane again. "I hope he's okay." I said to myself as I reached my house. I opened to door to see my dad standing in the doorway. "Where have you been?" he asked. "Ummm" I hesitated to tell him. "I lost control." I said hanging my head down. "I know." he said. My head shot up. "How did you know?" I asked. "You weren't asleep, but you have no blood on you so I'm amusing you gained control." he said "Well not really. I saw someone I knew hurt so I gained control for a moment but left before I could hurt them more than they already were." I said remembering Shoto on the ground. My vision turned a tint of red so I pushed my dad aside and ran to the fridge. "Kyu, you can't keep doing this." He said as I grabbed a bottle of blood. "Your going to have to control yourself or you'll be put in jail." he finished as I finished the bottle. "I'll do my best." I said turning around and giving him a hug. "Now, I need to sleep I have school tomorrow." I said heading to my room.

I woke up to someone shaking me. I turned half wolf and growled. "5 more minutes." I said. "Heroes don't get to sleep in." A voice said. I open my eyes to see my dad with my uniform. "Get dressed or you'll be late." he said. I took the uniform, shooed him out, and got dressed. Once I finished I stuck my tongue out in disgust. The skirt was way to short. "I can't really do anything."  I said to myself. I grabbed my bag and left the house.

"Hey Orca.". I Turned around and saw Shoto. "Hey Todoroki" I said. "Want to walk to school with me?" I asked. A small tint of pink appeared on his cheeks as he said "Sure.". We lived really close to each other so we saw each other in a couple of minutes from our homes. We talked the whole way and started to know each other pretty well.

I sat down in my seat that happened to be in front of Shoto. I turned around to talk to him but then I heard someone at front of the room say "It took 8 seconds for you to quiet down, that's wasting valuable time." they said. I look to see some dude stepping out of a yellow sleeping bag. "Put these on and head the the yard." he said holding up a gym uniform.

I finished changing and when out to the yard. I saw everyone and stood next to some kid with spiky ash blonde hair. Everyone went quiet when our teacher walked out. "Bakugo what was your top throw in middle school?" asked our teacher. " 65 meters I think." replied the kid next to me. "Well try it with your quirk." Our teacher said. Bakugo walked up and took the ball our teacher was holding out for him. He did some stretches and threw the ball while yelling die. Our teacher then held up a small device that said 607.5. "wow" I said with sarcasm. He looked at me with a glare. "We'll be doing some test with your quirks also the one that comes in last will be sent home or expelled ." Our teacher I said. I scoffed. We started doing the test. First was a short race. I was against a kid that I could tell was a pervert. I rolled my eyes as he winked at me and I turned into a wolf. I heard the start noise and sped in front of him. "2.4 seconds!" The machine said as I passed it. During the test I did well of the ones that had to do with speed. Other than that I did bad. "Here are the results." Said our teacher. I was in 10th out of 21 kids. I sighed with relief. "And I was lying, no one is going home." he said. I growled and my vision went slightly red. "Orca calm down it was to make sure everyone did there best." Aizawa said. I huffed and turned away. My vision got slightly redder and my breathing got heavier. "Are you okay?" asked a kid with green untamed hair. My knees buckled under me. "Aizawa she needs help!" Shouted todoroki. "Iida go to the teacher lounge, in the fridge there should be a bottle of red liquid grab that and bring it here!" Aizawa ordered. Iida took off and my breath got heavier. He came back in a couple of seconds and handed me the bottle. I practically broke the cap off and drank the blood. "Some of the kids looked like they'd be sick because what they thought was medicine looked like blood. "Are you okay now?" Aizawa asked. " Yeah I'm fine." I said. I stood up but almost fell. Todoroki caught me and helped me stand up. "Orca next time bring a water bottle with your medicine." Aizawa said. "Okay." I replied as I sighed with relief.
