Chapter 1 - I swear it's only you!

Chapter 1

"It's going to be us, against the world!" She said to him, comforted him. 

"I am not worth it tipsy!" He said disgusted on what he did years back.
"Am really not worth it"

She sushed him up. Her touch on his lips gave him butterflies.
"I said it's us Karan. And you know me. I get what I want" she said and went out of the police station.

She went fast to her home. Banged the door and just left to her room leaving Ved perplexed on what happened to her.

She locked her room. Went before her mirror and cried.

"Karan! I know you didn't do this. You don't deserve this. You deserve your wife, you deserve your daughters, you deserve happiness!" She said and cried.

"What am I going to do?" She sat on the floor crossing her legs around her arms and crying her head down.

Somewhere during the past,

"Tipsy come in" Karan was frustrated as Tipsy kept knocking the door and irritating him.

Suddenly there was no sound of Karan and she was perplexed as she kept knocking continuously even after his permission.

"Beeviyo ko permission Nahi Chahiye!" He said pulling her hand as she fell straight to his arms.
"You've got all the right my love" he said.

She playfully kept hitting his shirt buttons. He held her tight by her waist. 

"You've become slim huh!" He said as he saw her that he got more grip than before.
"You've got used to it. I didn't become slim. In fact I became fat. Because of  your....." She didn't complete
"Alooo paarathe!" I know. He said.

"Did I disturb you?" She asked.
"What were you doing?"

"Nothing just going through the script. It was a murder scene and I was so engrossed in it!" He said.

"Murder scene? Can I read it?" She said.

"Sure babes. Here you go!" He said as he lent her his iPad.

"Yes! Right!" Tipsy stood up all of a sudden.

She went in the restroom. Took a bath. And picked for herself a pair of tights and t shirt.

She called her mom.
"Amma. I need you here right now." She said.
"What happened Tiruppo?" Amma spoke with fear, "is there any problem?" She asked.

"No ma. But I need you here. To take care of Piya. I'll be busy and I don't know till when. Just come ma. Please" she said.

"Ok beta. I'll come by half an hour. Just started from home" she said.

Tirupu, as she was called, went outside with a swag, leaving out her hair unbraided which waved freely alongside the shoulders in the rythm of the breeze.

"Ved" she said.
"Can I borrow your assistant for a while?" She said.
"Huh tipsy? What happened to you? Why are you dressed like this?" He asked astonished.

"Yes or no?" She stressed.
"Of course!" He said.

She just went out of the house.

"Hi Richard, Tipsy here!" She said over the phone.
"Come to the police station where Karan is locked up!" She said.
"Ma'am?" Came a reply. Confused.

"We are his lawyers" she said.
"Ma'am Ved sir?" He said.

She cut the call.
