Chapter 10 - Deciding on the priorities!

Tipsy went to her home. She tried looking normal, refreshing herself, she looked into the mirror and smiled.

"You have Karan" she said to herself.
And came out of the restroom, refreshing herself!

"Ma where is Karan?" She asked
"He's upstairs beta. Playing with Piya" she said.
Looking at her daughter more, she asked "What happened Tipsy? Why do you look so stressed up?"

"Nothing ma. Just work!" She said.
"Of course Hoga na. You're doing both your lawyer as well as your doctor jobs."

"Ma, I am not a lawyer. I am doing this only for Karan" she said as she hugged her mom.

Seeing her sudden move, her mom wondered what was wrong with her.
"Thoda rest Bhi le liya Karo" she said, caressing her hair.

"Haan ma. Pakka. Now, aap what dinner?" She asked,coming out of the embrace.

"Karan ordered Pizzas. Piya wanted them so. We have some for you too. In the kitchen. Heat them once." She paused. "No I guess it'll be hot, it was just delivered" she said.

"Did Karan and Piya eat!?" She asked.
"Haan Piya ate but Karan didn't" ma replied.

"Okay then. I'll take it up" she said.

As she was about to move, her mother held her hand, "Tipsy, I can see clearly that you're stressed up on something. Just share it with someone. If not me, atleast to Karan. And about Piya, she'll sleep in her room itself. Sherry had promised her, her favourite bed time story. So Thu fikar math Kar" she said.

"Thank you ma" she said smiling a bit.

"Ab ja" she said releasing her grip.

Tipsy went inside the kitchen and saw that there were two boxes of Pizzas left. She opened them and saw that they were already hot. So she took both of them and climbed the stairs.

"Mr.Khanna.." she cried as she landed on the rooftop.
"Yahaan Hu Yaar" a voice came from a direction.

Tipsy moved towards that direction and could see Karan and Piya playing with a ball.

"Itni raat ho gayi aur ball?" She said as she kept the pizzas on the couch behind Karan.

"Mumma I love papa" Piya said as she ran to hug Karan. "Me too" she said in a lower voice but Karan could hear it. He looked at her lovingly, mouthing a kiss. She gained back in a jiffy

"Okay Piya. Now neeche chalo. I heard it's your favourite story's turn today!" She said kissing the child on her forehead.

"Yes mumma. It's the princess waali story." She said excited and hugged her mother.

"Aww bacche" she said as she hugged her back and said "Dheka Mr.Khanna, baath se dadi Amma hai lekin story ke liye itni excited ho gayi" and kisses her again.

"Bye mumma papa. Good night" she said mouthing a kiss to both her parents.
"Bye beta" both shouted together. "Good night".

"So, you didn't eat!" She said as she took out the pizzas from the boxes.
"I was waiting for you" he said as he held her tightly and made her sit on his lap, while he sat on the couch.

"Arre" she said losing balance, but he caught her tight.
Tipsy had a tight grip on Karan's shirt. Karan's grip on Tipsy's waist was not more less.

His fingers on her waist sent shivers to her. She could sense the love for her in it.

"Kyaa Kar rahe hai aap?" She said as she playfully let her fingers roam around his chest hairs through the open buttons of his T shirt, giving him jitters.
