chapter 16

Bryan was curled up in the bed, wearing a dress that Eden forced him to wear. He's already been here for a month a week, but was miserable and in a lot of pain.

Yesterday, before he went to sleep, he accidentally made Eden angry. Eden ended up punishing him, hitting areas away from Bryan's stomach. He choked Bryan, hence why his neck was bruised, and he also kicked and cut Bryan's legs with a knife, hence why he had cuts and bruises. He also had a cut on his cheek, which Eden had given him this morning, was stinging a lot, and still bleeding a bit.

Bryan just wanted to cry, wanted to be back home, be anywhere but here. He sighed softly and looked towards his stomach, smiling softly and gently rubbing, giggling a bit when he felt a kick.

The potion made him pregnant 2 weeks ago, and he swore that he would love this child, even if they're Eden's child. That was part of the reason he wanted to leave, he had no idea what Eden could do to his child.

He heard a bang from the hallway, causing him to tense before gently yet protectively wrapping an arm around his stomach, staring at the door as he did so. Suddenly, something hit against the door, causing Bryan to yelp quietly and whimper.

Suddenly, the door was forced open, causing Bryan to tear up when he saw a few familiar faces, two of which have been helping him through what Eden was doing to him. The group consisted of the guild leaders, Marshie and Josh, who were the ones that Eden made guard him and ended up helping comfort him, and most importantly... his brothers.

Bri, Brandeen, and Rian all rushed over to Bryan. They hugged him, removed the metal bands, and were fussing over him, saying that Marshie and Josh told them what Eden did, and the fact that he's now pregnant.

Brandon frowned and used his wind to make them all back up.

''Calm down, you might overwhelm him. For now, we should get him somewhere safe and get him a change of clothes, something's telling me that he doesn't like that outfit.'' Rian, Brandeen, and Bri all nodded, while Bryan had a question on his mind.

''What are you two doing here? And where have you been for the past 4 months?'' Rian and Brandeen smiled.

''Long story short, we were captured and taken in for questioning, answered honestly, got offered a place in Divinus Magia, and accepted.'' Brandeen nodded in agreement as he and Rian showed Bryan their guildmarks.

Bryan smiled at them, wincing when he moved one of his legs. Rian frowned and gently picked Bryan up, making sure he was comfortable as he looked at everyone.

''Let's get out of here. Brandeen and I will take Bryan to our house and get him a change of clothes. One of you guys get a healer, if I'm correct, Lo Pho is one, and another person gets Jakey, and explain to those two about the potion Eden made Bryan drink.'' Everyone nodded and went their separate ways.

Silver, Josh, and Marshie went together, Silver having offered them a second chance. Ritchie and Brandon going to get Lo Pho, than Michael and Bri going to get Jakey. Brandeen used a teleportation lacrima and brought himself and his brothers back to the island.

Rian sat Bryan down on the couch and went to get him a change of clothes while Brandeen stayed with Bryan, frowning softly when he saw how tired and sore Bryan looked. He also saw the collar and removed it, growling when he saw the bruise that Eden had left.

Rian returned after a moment and growled when he saw the bruise on Bryan'a neck. He handed Bryan the clothes and tried to keep his anger in. Bryan changed quickly, not noticing that Brandeen and Rian were growling when they saw the injures on him.

The two were whispering to eachother, plotting soemthing without Bryan knowing. When Bryan finished, he let put a yawn. Rian turned to him and smiled.

''Tired?'' Bryan nodded and leaned against him, whining softly.

Rian sighed and gently picked Bryan up before walking to a guest room. He gently kicked open the door and walked in before laying Bryan down on the bed.

''When Lo Pho and Jakey get here, we'll have Lo Pho hewl you and Jakey can stay until morning.'' Bryan yawned and nodded before falling asleep.

Rian smiled softly at him before turning and walking out of the room, quietly closing the door behind him.
