dream come true (pt. 3)

i walk up to my room and see y/f sitting on her bed just staring at the door like a dog waiting for their owner to come home.
"tell me everything!" she said
"i'm so tired y/f"
"so! after what you did to me i deserve this!"
"ugh ok, let me change first" i change back into my pjs i had on earlier, and tell y/f everything that happened.
"ugh you're so lucky!"
"i know" i say with dream eyes, "anyway tom is coming over tomorrow to watch elf. he's never seen it!"
"WHAT?"
"i know" i say and we drift off to sleep.

i wake up at about 2 in the afternoon, i turn around and y/f is giving me an evil look.
"i tried to wake you up 10 TIMES" she said
"sorr-" i try to say
"YOU JUST KEPT HITTING ME!"
"sorry" i say while laughing
"it's not funny!" she said "we were suppose to go sightseeing 2 hours ago! hurry up and get dressed!"
"okay, okay" i get ready as quickly as possible and then we head out. we went to the walk of fame, the griffith observatory, the art museum, and we saw the hollywood sign. it was a lot of fun . we got home at around 8. and i change back into comfy clothes, but not too comfy because i know tom's coming over and i don't want to look ugly, obviously. then i get a text from tom.

tom: on my way, you want me to bring you guys something to eat?
me: yayyy! yeah, ooooh can you get in and out burger??
tom: of course, be there in a bit.

"tom's on his way. he's bringing food."
"yessss, you have the best boyfriend ever!" she says
"woah, boyfriend? we went on one date"
"are you saying you don't want tom holland to be your boyfriend? cause if not i'll take him"
"of course i want him to be my boyfriend, but your not a boyfriend after one date, you have to see where it leads."
she rolls her eyes "i'm just saying you guys have chemistry, you were made for each other. i know you and i know that you wouldn't just be the type of girl to make the first move because you're shy. and he actually followed up on it. you spend hours with each other the first night you met, share all your stories, and he reminded you about the movie meaning he didn't want to leave you after all that time, so wake up, he's serious about you."
"oh my gosh" you say, "you're right"
"of course i'm right, when am i wrong?"
i roll my eyes. then we hear a knock on the door. i jump up and get it.
"hey" tom says
"hey" i say, his arms wrapped around my waist and our eyes locked, and were smiling ear to ear.
"i missed you" he said
"not as much as i missed you" i say
"not possible" he whispers into my ear. and his perfect lips meet mine.
"ugh get a room" y/f interrupts
"i have one, but you're in it" i say back with a joking sassy look, she returns that look, and we laugh. tom throws her burger at her.
"oooooh thank youuuuu" she says
he laughed and says "no problem"
i do a 'gimme' gesture with my hands and he says "i don't think y/f wants us to kiss in front of her"
"i was asking for my burger, you self absorbed freak" i joke
he gasps and says "why so mean?"
i smile and give him a kiss and take my burger.
i get up and play the movie then turn off the lights.
"why did you turn off the lights?"
"uhhh to set a movie theatre effect" i say
"duh" y/f says
"oh sorry, it's been a while since i've been in the audience of a movie theatre"
"ahhhhhh" i say and shake my head.
he has a smirky smile showing that he knows he won that one. i wrap my arms around him and he does the same, i put my head on my shoulder and he rests his head on my head.
when the movie ends he says "that was a good film"
i smile and y/f goes "mmhmm"
"i don't want you to goooo" i wine while hugging him
"well i don't have to if it's ok with you y/f?"
"uhhhh yeah" y/f says
"alright then" he says. we hang out and talk. tom and y/f are really bonding, which i love. me and y/f force him to put on one of those black sticky face masks, i'm finally getting that kind of love that i've been dreaming about since i was a kid, and with the perfect man. when it's about midnight tom says she should probably head out, so i tell him i'd walk him to his car.
"tom?" i say as we're walking out.
"yes, y/n" i smile, every time he says my name i feel... complete.
"i know it's soon to be talking about this but i really, really like you and i don't want this to end. i want to be you're girlfriend. not a friends with benefits or rebound, a girlfriend that you care about."
"well, this is kind of awkward" he says, and instantly i regret saying what i said, even though i still felt those things i didn't want to loose him. "uhhh, well, it's just i already thought of you as my girlfriend" we walk out the hotel door and start for his car.
"oh my gosh, the way you worded that scared me! i hate you!"
"awww, love you too"
we stop. there's an awkward pause and by now we're at his car. "what?" i say
"ok, so i know this is soon, and you don't have to say it back, but i kind of, maybe, am starting to... love you"
i smile ear to ear "well i kind of, maybe, am starting to love you too." i say
"oh thank god, i was so nervous, like seriously-"
i pull him in by the front of his hoodie and kiss him. but this kiss is better than all the other kisses because i know he's mine.
