I was one of the lucky people this morning. I only had minimal glue on my face and some sparkles in my hair. Others...we're not so lucky. Some people if there brothers or sisters were in grade 12 got a gallon of paint poured on them and a mountain full of sparkles poured on top of them and it's not even first period!!
Once first period started I knew it was going to be a long day. I looked around the classroom and it was pretty much empty. They had all skipped. Right now that doesn't sound like a bad plan but knowing my aunt she would kill me if I skipped. The people who didn't skip like me, look like they have gone threw an explosion of sparkles and paint. The look on there faces told me that this is not one of those fun days when it's just getting paint thrown on you. No, I could see it in there eyes that today was going to be a nightmare. Once the bell had rung for school to start, my first period teacher told us the rules for the day. I don't mind my first period teacher but she's not my favorite considering it's math. My favorite teacher is ms. Whitman. She is soo nice and she teaches my favorite subject, English. ms. Cowler(first period teacher) told us the rules with this serious yet concerning look on her face. "today is not an ordinary day" she said."there are a couple of rules. Rule 1. U must never fight back to the grade 12's no matter what they do. Rule 2. Always use a buddy system. Never be in the school alone. And finally rule 3. Try to have fun!!" Today is going to suck. First I don't have any friends in the class. Second no one will want to be my partner. And lastly today is going to be hell.
Then my teacher told us that we do not go to any of our classes and to just have fun. Then we all got in partners. Everyone had a partner except me and this guy that always sits in the very back of the class. He has jet black hair that he spiked up like every other guy on the face of the planet. He has brown eyes and always wears jeans and converse.
Anyways since we both didn't have a partner we were paired together for the whole day...yay! Don't get me wrong I like meeting new people but it doesn't help that I have social anxiety. That's probably why I don't have a lot of friends.
"Hi, my name is Alex" he said.
I knew I was going to mess this up, I have a bad enough time introducing myself to girls, I don't think I'll be able to with Alex. "H...hi, I'm Rachel"
"Well today's going to be hell!" He said with a sarcastic tone. "I can tell we are going to be friends."
He grabbed my hand and we an out the classroom.......
