"Oh my god. It's been you the whole time. The saving, the kissing, t-the swinging. It's always been you." I breath after releasing him from my kiss.

"Yeah..." He trails off, his cheeks tinging with color.

"P-peter I don't know what to say." I stutter.

"Don't say anything." He whispers, then he leans down and kisses me.

"Okay." I breath out after kissing him.

"Peter?" A girl with blonde hair says off on the sidewalk.

"Gwen?" Peter speaks in disbelief. "I thought you were dead."

"You can't get rid of me that easily." She smiles with humor. "But I see you've moved on quickly." She swallows.

"No, Gwen, I-i" Peter says dropping me, then looking back and forth to the both of us.

"It's okay. Go." I say, motioning for Peter to choose her.

He turns his head towards hers and runs up, hugging her. My throat clenches and I think,

I wish someday he can love me the way he loves her.

I still to this day don't understand why I let him go, or why I shouldn't have. Looking back on this day, I realize many important things. Morgan knew Peter before me and was in Love with him, this "Gwen" was supposedly madly in love with him, and my choices could have been better.

I simply walk away, not shedding a single tear. No guy is worth crying over. Especially not when your best friend has liked him and he belongs to another girl.

I get home, and call Morgan. I apologize, and I explain everything. Her voice seems tight every time she speaks, and I know, she was madly in love with him just like Gwen. She loved- correction Loves him. I give up on him, even though in my heart, I know I'll love him, Forever and Always.
