Sleep did not come to Jungkook for the rest of the early morning. He stayed wrapped in his demon's arms. He watched the slow trickle of dawn's early light creep through his window and through the blinds. He clutched at his demon's hands where they laid against his chest. Always laid against his heart. Jungkook laid on his side, his back pressed against Yoongi's chest. Yoongi's leg in-between his own.

His demon tried numerous times to try and soothe him. Whispering soft nothings into his ear. Quiet coos trying to coax him into slumber. Urging Jungkook that he needed to sleep that he needed to rest. That Jungkook needed to let his mind be in peace, even if it was for a brief moment.

But Jungkook did not want to sleep. He did not want any more dreams to plague him. But still he wanted to see and hear his brother. To be able to discover a side of his brother he knew so well, but in regards towards someone else other than himself. But the ache in his heart refused him any comfort. He spent the hours not moving. He was thinking of everything and of nothing at all. No matter how hard he tried to wrap his mind around the thought that his brother had cared and possibly saved his demon. The demon he bonded with. The demon who is now and forever connected to his soul. If it weren't for his brother, he knew Yoongi would not have fought so hard to make his way to the human realm and bond with Jungkook.

Even after his brother was dead, he was still looking out for him. He was always looking out for Jungkook. He will always be thankful for Junghyun. He owes his brother his whole life. His whole heart and soul.

But Jungkook needed to know. He needed to know how Yoongi came to earth. He needed to know who brought him to this realm. He needed to know what they did to Yoongi during his time here prior to his bonding. Jungkook needed to know how his brother became caught up in all of it. He needed to know why his brother seemed to have taken Yoongi under his protection, but to also know who he was protecting Yoongi from. He needed to know if how his brother death truly was due to a simple mission. Or if it was all a lie, all a coverup.

He needed to know why his demon felt these emotions towards him. He needed to know why and how his demon felt these emotions before even meeting Jungkook, why just his name and brought these feelings to him. Jungkook needed to know why and how he had the very same emotions towards his demon. And why these emotions had intensified within the past night. He could not help his mind from wondering and speculating how his demon was not like any other demon. Jungkook often put it to the side by theorizing that it is due to him being a Demon of Death. An all-powerful demon, the most powerful demon. His kind were made for mass destruction and mass killings. But Yoongi was different from anything he has ever heard about these types of demons. Because with a simple wave of his hand Jungkook knew Yoongi could destroy this entire base. But Jungkook never felt more safer lying in the demon's arms. His mind and his heart are confused but he knew he did not want to stop touching the demon.

Jungkook watched the sun slowly rise higher into the sky. He watched as the minutes and hours ticked away on his clock. He began to hear his teammates begin to stir and wake. But none of them came to Jungkook, hoping the man was still asleep still resting. Jungkook wished it was true. He felt his demon stir, but he simply just pulled Jungkook closer and breathed into his master's hair. His demon was asleep. Jungkook had never witnessed his demon fall into the human need. When Jungkook woke randomly throughout nights prior he would always meet the blood-red eyes. Often, he sat watching Jungkook. There were times he was studying and reading Jungkook's notes, often adding his own. Lately he would seek for him as he laid in his arms. But the demon never slept.

And Jungkook truly realized the toll it has taken on his demon. Yoongi has always put on a brave front, showing no emotion no reaction towards anything. Even when they were alone in Jungkook's room. While Jungkook often became emotional, hysterical even on previous accounts. His demon was there to settle and bring him back. But the memories, the dreams, the confession. It had energy from his demon.
