5. Old Friend

As I walked down the dirt path I couldn't help but feel as if I was being watched.
I've always been paranoid but my gut was telling me that this feeling was legit enough for me to talk.

I turned around and looked up at the tall dark trees that surrounded my sight "Just come out I already know you're there" I sighed.

Loud rustling could be heard before a figure popped out of the trees and was now hanging upside down next to me.

A smile placed itself onto me features and I immediately latched onto the figure making him fall, me ending up on him.

I couldn't help but squeal "ITONA!!!" I tackled him again as he wrapped an arm around my waist, us both being on the ground now with me on top of him.

I got up, just now realizing the embarrassing position we were in, and got up. I turned my head in embarrassment to which I heard a chuckles "long time no see huh" I turned to face Itona only for him to be nowhere in sight.
I felt a poke on my shoulder which made me turn around on my heels to be eye to eye with Itona. I screamed bloody murder making me soon frown "It wasn't funny when we were kids and it's not funny now!!" I lectured him with my arms crossed and my head up "c'mon it's kinda funny you gotta admit" he silently laughed while leaning towards me in a innocent way.

I pushed him away "You haven't changed a bit!" I huffed "I wish I could say the same" he said in a hushed tone "what's that supposed to mean?" I asked with a pissed off expression "Nothing!" He quickly yelped out "Itonaaaa!" I grumbled angrily "Belllaaaa!" Itona mocked with a goofy grin on his face.

I charged at him only for him to swiftly move out of the way "I'm gonna get you!" I yelled with a smirk " hah I'd like to see you try!" He laughed with a grin.

I turned invisible for a split second making Itona confused. He looked around and slouched over "No fair! You got an upgrade!" He yelled, I giggled in response now making myself reappear "it's not my fault that you only have tentacles and super speed and that I have all of this amazingness to myself" I stated as I lunged at him.

We fell to the ground and rolled down a huge hill "gotcha!" I said as I sat on top of him "no" he said while turning us over so he was the one on top "I got you!" He yelled in victory.
I struggled to get out of his grip but to no avail and then a thought came into mind... my arms where his hands were started turning red "Ouch!" He squirmed as he let go, my arms turning dangerously hot "That was a cheap move Bella!" He yelled while rubbing his hands as I got up "Not my fault you can't take the heat" I winked at him making him blush slightly.

We heard footsteps and turned our heads to to sound "That's quite enough horseplay children" a figure dressed in all white emerged from the shadows.

Shiro.

I can't say that I really like the guy but he's alright compared to the other jackasses I work with. I fake smiled at the man that slowly walked towards us "Yo what's up Shiro? It feels like forever! How you holding up?" I asked as I reached my hand out to shake "I see you still choose to speak like a delinquent while around me as usual" I immediately frowned "I see you still don't listen to no white after Labor Day old man" I could feel the agitation radiating off of him but I simply ignored as I helped Itona up.

Itona was wearing a cold, blank expression that I couldn't read as he stood next to the man in all white. I see, so he's using Itona now like always..such a shame. I frowned at Itona but smirked when I turned to look at Shiro. His red eyes glaring at my blue pools as he cleared his throat "We have business to attend to. Itona come." He boredly stated as he started walking. I turned to face their vanishing figures "cya I guess" I flung my fingers into a peace sign as I saw a slight movement coming from Itona. I looked down to see him holding a piece sign behind his back, I smiled at the small gesture as I started walking towards the classroom.

I was almost to the classroom when all of a sudden I heard rustling I breathed in activating one of my wind abilities and blowing out which made all of the trees sway back and forth as some birds flew. There was all of a sudden a loud thud followed by a groan "Hmph didn't your parents ever tell you it was rude to follow someone without their consent" I said calmly as the boy stood up "didn't your parents ever tell you it was rude to blow someone out of a tree" The redhead argued "Hm touché" I said as I started walking to my destination "Hey wait up!" Karma yelled as he ran up next to me.

I hummed waiting for him to talk "Why did you go out into the forest yourself" he asked awaiting an answer "Why did you follow me into the forest? Were you wanting to hear something or do you just like looking at me that badly" the Mercury eyed boy turned his head to avoid the girl seeing his blush.

He soon yelled "What? No!" He argued "I was just curious thats all!" He yelled again "Then why didn't you just ask me?" The girl argued back. The boy took a breath "didn't I just do that?" He responded with a calm expression and tone "Fine. I like walking in the forest without company simply for the reason that it relaxes me" the girl explained "makes sense"

They walked up to the classroom right before lunch ended and they saw a yellow blob fly past them "Social Studies here we come" they both said in sarcastic unison, making them both laugh.

A/N: I can't believe this!!! I'm so mad at myself for keeping you guys waiting ughhh!!! I'm so sorry that this is short too! It's strange that now quarantine has started I'm 10x busier than usual and it's really annoying! This story will be on pause for a short while but don't worry it won't be too long!
