Y/n wasn't necessarily a heavy sleeper. She normally woke up to the smallest of sounds, hence why the smallest bit of sun shining on her face caused her to squirm away- only to be stuck in place.

What?

The young girl quickly opened her eyes- only to be met with a strand of saliva. She groaned before pushing the head that rested on top of hers up, carefully avoiding the spit and slipping out of her father's lap, falling onto the ground with a thud.

She forgot that she even came to the Hokage's tower last night- normally she can remember though today was different, weird.

The shorter blonde wiped the sleep from her eyes, slightly wincing when the crust stuck to her finger and hastily wiping it off. With a light hum, she began treading her fingers through her hair in an attempt to brush it out.

Y/n gave a short glance towards the window at the sound of tapping- only to see questionably large raindrops hit the window. She eventually removed her fingers from her hair to watch the rain, it usually doesn't rain much in the village so when it does it's quite nice to watch.

The creak of the door quickly caught her attention, her head snapping to the side and her eyes locking with sharp coal ones. Y/n lightly shrieked before falling back- her head banging against the window roughly.

The tall male only raised his eyebrow before giving a light laugh, or a sound that could be mistaken as one- it was more so a huff of amusement but she calls them his laughs. "Y/n." His eyebrow raised slightly before he spoke again. "Shouldn't you be at home?"

"Uh, well I was going to head home, but it's raining and I didn't just want to leave dad." The girl only took seconds to respond. Yes she was supposed to be home but she didn't want to leave just yet, she doesn't remember even having the smallest of conversation with her father and she had this awkward feeling in her stomach that she needed to.

"Hinata is going to worry." His response was short and simple, it felt almost overpowering- Y/n gave a small thought, was he always like this? And his presence screams 'I could kick your ass if I wanted to.'

Y/n only waved her hand, an awkward smile present on her face- she was losing this fight. With a light laugh, one more of fear, and a large huff of air she defended herself. "I'm sure she'll see the rain and guess that's why, after dad wakes up I'll go home."

Sasuke only nodded before walking over to Naruto and harshly flicking his head. Naruto quickly jerked awake and grabbed onto his head, a loud whine escaping his mouth. The younger watching lightly flinched before giggling.

"Ah, what was that for?" Naruto groggily rubbed one of his eyes as he slouched back into his cair. His hair seemed messy and he had a line of dried spit down his chin- it was an unpleasant sight.

The black-haired male smiled before he shook his head and placed a file onto Naruto's desk, it seemed as if it was in perfect shape, almost like he spent his entire life making sure it didn't wrinkle or get a single speck of dust on it.

"Oh, your mission report. Thanks." Naruto lifted his arms in a stretch, his chair leaning and his back loudly popping. Giving a sigh he wiped his face, the girl on the floor watching could only hope he was going to change and wash his face before he continued on with his day.

The three sat and conversed for what seemed like hours- the rain acting as background noise and their voices filling in any silence that lurked in the corners. The conversation went on from upcoming school to past wars and her grandad.

"Hey, dad-" Y/n started, her head resting on the glass and her hair in a bun, one which Sasuke put up. Though the moment she started a bolt of lightning struck the building. The shorter girl yelped before falling forward.

"What was that?" Naruto pulled his feet from the top of his table before spinning, now facing his daughter who now rested on the floor. Ramen cups rested across his entire desk and a single pair of chopsticks resting on his unopened pack.

Sasuke lightly tilted his head before speaking, his cloak sat still on a chair next to him. "Just thunder."
