Lonely Hearts Club is a story published by TheNerdChronicles, aka Maddie

This story is based on four girls named Rachel, Laura, Alison, and Marina. The meaning of this introduction is to introduce these characters, and their backstories.

The Characters

Rachel McKibben is a student at the University of Notre Dame, along with the other main characters. She was born in Chicago to a happy family, until her parents got divorced when she was three. Rachel is the musician of the Lonely Hearts. She has been playing the saxophone since sixth grade, she plays guitar and piano, and she is also a singer.
Throughout her life, Rachel had a series of problems, such as an eating disorder (Bulimia), family problems, and she just has anger issues. She overreacts on the littlest things, and she ends up driving away all of her boyfriends due to jealousy (Like Taylor Swift said, "I get drunk on jealousy"), anger, and overreacting, which is why she is a member of the lonely hearts club. However, Rachel can be a very sweet and generous person.

Laura Jepson was born in Kansas City to loving parents, and an older sister that she always fought with. Laura is a very open minded person. She always wants to get a chance to know people before actually judging them.

For all of Laura's past relationships, she has been cheated on, lied to, or been abused. Laura has a difficult time trusting people for that reason, and if she trusts you, I have some advice- Be careful what you do. It takes forever for her to trust someone, and once she does, the trust could be broken in two seconds flat.

Because of her trust issues, Laura has a hard time falling back in love. So, she is apart of the Lonely Hearts Club.

Alison Kenya was born in Madison to a teen mom, that was never around for her. For the first twelve years of Alison's life, she had to stay at home with her mother's friend (That showed more care for her actual mother) while her mom was out partying, getting wasted and high.

A few weeks after her twelfth birthday, the child services came. Alison's mom was completely drunk and high when they came, so Alison was sent to live with her father in Chicago.

She met Rachel there, and they become friends in high school.

In high school, she was a rebellious teenager, always talking back to the teacher, getting detention, ditching, etc.

Alison had struggles in school. She got good grades, but there were always people messing with her. They always called her fat, ugly, worthless, and other things just like it. One day, someone ended up telling someone all about what happened to Alison's mom, and they started to say how she was an "unwanted piece of shit" to everyone, and that she should try to kill herself.

And so she tried. After school that day, she went into her closet, and grabbed a rope. Luckily, Rachel had a key to her house. Or maybe she broke in. Like a stupid friend of the author's would say, "silly goose!" (But in an annoying ass voice. If you know me, you know who I'm talking about.)

Anyway, however Rachel got in, she ended up finding her passed out. She was still alive, though.

Alison was in the hospital for a week, and she ended up switching schools. Alison is still depressed today, but not as much. And she's thankful for Rachel probably breaking into her house that day.

Alison is a member of the Lonely Hearts Club simply because she just can't seem to find a guy that doesn't want her for sex.

Marina Scott was born in Toronto to some people that gave Marina up for adoption. Marina was adopted around the time of her first birthday to an American family that lived in Dallas.

Marina was an honest person. If she ate the last cookie in the jar, she'd admit to it. If she payed her sister money to stick her tongue to a pole in the winter, she'd admit to it.

But being honest isn't a great thing for Marina. Whenever she falls in love, she feels it right away. And then she tells the person she loves them. And then they leave.

This has happened far too many times for Marina. So she is the fourth and final member of the Lonely Hearts Club.

Story Background
How did all of them meet? Well, Alison and Rachel already knew each other. Whenever they both found out they were going to the same school together, they were pumped.

One night, they both went to a party. They met Marina and Laura there, and they all became friends.

Months later, at a Christmas party, the four of them were all locked away in a room confessing things about themselves. Yes, even Alison confessed about her mom.

They were a little drunk. But who cares. Then, there's the words that Marina spoke that they will remember for life.

"Well, you guys. I propose a toast!" She said.

"To what?" Laura asked, and Marina laughed.

"Just raise your bottle."

So, they did.

"Here's to the Lonely Hearts Club!" She said, and they all clinked their bottles together.

And that is how the Lonely Hearts Club started.
