[Media: How I pictured Marina]
I was laying down on my boyfriend of one month's couch. He had his arm wrapped around me, and we were watching a movie, and cuddling.
When the movie was over, I felt him kiss my forehead, and I smiled. I get up and walk to his kitchen, and get something to eat, and I feel his arms wrap around me.
"Hey... Do you wanna do something?" He whispers in my air, and I know what he means...
"Sure." He takes my hand, and leads me back to his room. We crash onto his bed, and he starts to kiss me passionately.
After about five minutes, I pull away. "Hey, Jake?" I say, and he smiled at me. "Hmm?"
"I think I love you." I say, and he sits up.
"I'm gay." He replies, and my eyes widen. "Wait... What?" I climb off his bed, and stare at him.
"I... Probably should of told you before... But it's just... I'm gay." He says quietly, and I sigh.
"I understand... Well, I'll be going now..." I say before quickly leaving his apartment. I get a taxi to drive me to campus.
I walk into my dorm, and see Rachel strumming her guitar.
"Oh. Hey. Didn't know you'd be here." I say, and fall over onto my bed.
"Well, this is my dorm, too. What happened?" She asks, and puts down her guitar.
"I told my boyfriend I loved him.." I start off by saying.
"What else happened?" She asks again, and I sigh.
"He's gay." Rachel shakes her head.
"I'm sorry, Marina..." She says, and I shake my head. "It's alright..."
Rachel decides to drag me to a bar somewhere around campus so we can get our mind off of things.
We sat down at the bar, and I had the bar tender get us both a drink after we flashed our fake I.Ds.
You see, if I never met Alison, I wouldn't have a fake I.D.
When Rachel and I go out somewhere together, we have this one thing we do. If a guy that is interested in one of us, and we're not, we come up with a lie for each other every time to get them to leave.
We were sitting there, talking, and watching the Notre Dame basketball game when a guy came up to me.
"Hello." He says with a deep voice, and I raise my eyebrow. "Hello?" I reply, and he eyes Rachel.
"So, who's you're friend?" He asks, and I glance at her. Rachel gives me one of those, 'I-Hate-This-Guy-He-Seems-Like-A-Pedophile' looks, and I turn my attention back to him.
"Her name's Rachel..." I say, and he smirks.
"Well, do you think she'd like to go on a date with me?" He says, and as if on cue, Rachel starts to cry.
"I just... She wasn't even pretty!" She cried, and I shook my head.
"Sorry... Her boyfriend cheated on her..." I say, and he just leaves. Rachel stops, and I look at her.
"You're lucky you have a friend like me." I say, and she rolls her eyes.
"Yeah, I know."
