I looked at myself in the mirror and twirled. "The skirt is kinda... Short." I looked at my mom. She chuckled at patted my head. "I know you'll do great, sweetie. Have fun in school!" I nodded and head out, taking my time to walk since it's still early.
I finally arrived and saw the green haired boy in front of the large door. "Oh, it's you!" I jogged towards him and smiled. "I'm so glad you made it!"
He smiled at me. "Yeah.. I thought I wasn't gonna make it..." He opened the door, and the first thing we saw was glasses guy shouting at a blonde boy who has his feet up on his desk. I shook my head and went inside, sitting at my assigned seat near the back.
"It's you!" Iida exclaimed and looked at the green haired boy... Shoot, I forgot to ask his name!
Everyone in the room looked at the green boy. "I'm Midoriya..." He said. Oh... So it's Midoriya...
There was a bit of a commotion when we heard a voice and saw a man inside... a yellow... sleeping bag...
"Okay, it took you eight seconds to be quiet." So I guess he's the teacher... He must be a pro hero then.
He looked at us and introduced himself. "I'm your teacher, Shota Aizawa. Nice to meet you."
There was a lot of surprised voices. "Our teacher?"
"Wear these and come to the field." He showed us our uniform. I yawned and followed the instruction.
"A quirk assessment test?" The whole class asked, visibly confused. "No ceremony or orientation?" Ochako asked.
"If you want to be a hero, you don't have time for that." Answered our teacher. "UA is known for its unrestricted style, and that goes for the teachers as well."
"You've been doing this since middle school, right?" He held up a device and showed it to us. "Physical fitness tests without using your quirk."
"The country continues to calculate averages based on uniform results which is not logical." He continued.
"Didn't Bakugou come in first in the practical exam?" The blonde boy.. which I guess is Bakugou, looked up at the teacher. "In junior high, how many meters was your softball throw?" "Sixty seven meters." "Now do it with your quirk."
He stood in the middle of the circle, holding a softball. We are allowed to do anything inside the circle. 'I don't know if my quirk can do anything in this situation.. my quirk isn't exactly "physical".. what can a few crystal tools do in this exam? Should I use crystals? Or just the raw form of blood? But wouldn't that freak out anybody? And what if I overuse my-' My thoughts got interrupted when I heard a shout, followed by an explosion. "DIEEE!!!"
'Eh? Die?!' I looked at the ball with a shocked expression on my face. Aizawa-sensei showed us the screen. 705.2 meters... 'How can I even come close to that?'
The exams continued with the fear of being expelled. 'I won't let my father's training go to waste...' I clenched my fist with a determined smile.
First test: 50M Dash
"On your mark, get set, go!" The robot exclaimed. I am paired up with Glasses from earlier. He appears to have an engine on his legs. He powered up and ran. 'I guess I'll accept this defeat.' I chuckled and ran, remembering the training my father did to help me without using my quirk.
He finished 3.04 seconds, I finished 6.23 seconds. I panted. "Great job, Iida-san!" I congratulated him and went to stand with my other classmates.
Second test: Grip Test
'Hmm.. maybe I could use my quirk here..' I held the device and activated my quirk, a cross shaped wound formed on my wrist which caused blood to drip on the wooden floor. "Hana! You're bleeding!" Ochako ran towards me with worry that caused my other classmates to look at me. I blushed and smiled at her. "Don't worry, it's my quirk..." I reassured her and willed my blood that dripped on the floor to float, returning to my hand that held the device. My blood enveloped the handle, aiding my hand to grip it tighter. I winced and looked at the screen. '198 kg... Not bad I guess.'
"I need to dispose of this blood." Ochako looked at me, still worried. "That's a lot of blood, can't you put it back inside you?" I shook my head. "The blood is already contaminated and dirty, it'll be bad if I put it inside me again." I shaped my blood into a diamond and crystallized it, leaving a ruby-like gem on my hand. Ochako's eyes sparkled. "That's so cool!"
Third test: Standing Long Jump
I hiked my pants just below my knees, two cross shaped wounds opened. I used my legs and blood to propel me upwards.
I luckily passed and jumped all the way to the other side. The others looking at the mess I made, there was blood everywhere. I blushed in embarrasment and crystalized the sanguine fluid from the floor, breaking it to dust so there is no visible evidence left that I made a huge mess.
Fourth test: Side Steps
'A test that won't require me to use my quirk.' I sighed in relief.
Fifth test: Ball Throw
I congratulated Ochako for reaching infinity. I saw Midoriya froze up and I placed a hand on his shoulder. "It's gonna be okay, Midoriya."
It was his turn and we watched.
"46 meters." 'Eh?'
Turns out, Aizawa-sensei erased his quirk and a lot more commotion happened.
Midoriya got the chance to throw the ball again. 705.3 meters.
Bakugou looked very angry. I shuddered and continued to watch as he charged towards Midoriya, only to be stopped by Aizawa-sensei's cloth. I sighed in relief.
The tests went on and I luckily didn't have to use my quirk.
We went to our teacher and he announced the result. I placed in fifth.
---
I bid goodbye to Ochako and Midoriya and went home first. Exhausted is a word that describe me.
I opened a packet of "juice" and drank it on my way home to relieve the small itch on my throat.
