Reader's POV

It was a regular day at UA, well, for most part.
We had another unexpected field trip, that we did not prepare for at all, so that was normal.

I walked along with Kirishima and Mina to the bus.
"What do you think we're doing today?"
Mina asked with excitement.

"Most likely the normal battle training,"
I said.

"Probably,"
Kirishima agreed.

Only did I know...
We would march into hell itself.

At first, everything was normal. Mr. Aizawa explained to us what we would do.

We would be separated in groups and would have different obstacle courses to do.

I was partnered with Tokoyami and Tenya.
Two of my favorite buddiesss.
And we had a course in a cave.

Tenya decided we would take turns on who goes. One of us would be the "villain" the other the "hero" and the last a "trapped civilian" as we went though the obstacles.

I was the trapped civilian first and Tenya helped me find a place to be hidden, since he was the villain first.

It was at the end of the obstacles so it could take Tokoyami some time.

But he went throughout the obstacles with Dark Shadow.
Tenya did his best to distract him.
Then, we heard a crash.

Everyone kept going, it could've just been an accident made by one of our classmates.
But that wasn't the case.

My eyes widened as I listened for anything.
Tenya and Tokoyami froze as well.

"Do you think there's villains? Like at USJ?"
I asked with worry.

Tenya nodded firmly.
"I'll go check. You two stay here,"
He said.

"No, Te–"
"Let him go... it'll be a better plan,"
Tokoyami said.

I sighed and nodded, slumping back down.

Then, my eyes went wide along with Tokoyami's. Dark Shadow covered him as the ceiling collapsed.

Me, tied up, I could only try to use my Quirk to protect myself.
Vines swirled around me and I covered my head the best I could.

"Y/n!!"
Tokoyami shouted, panic flooded his face as we reached for each other. Boulders blocked my sight from him and soon, everything was dark.

I called the name relentlessly.
