new beginnings [kihyuk]

part three

a/n: hi!! it's been forever since i posted the last part but not many people have read this yet so it's not big of a problem LMAO. & stay safe please with everything that's going on with the virus right now 🥺!

as minhyuk was scrolling through his instagram, he was surprisingly startled from hyungwon's honk from outside. he was expecting his appearance but he was too busy liking yuta from nct's new instagram post.

his heart was racing, he just wanted to see his friends. he jumped up from his living room couch and ran outside to see a blonde hyungwon and changkyun.

he ran up to the side of car, opening the door rather aggressively to swallow hyungwon in a hug. not even a second later, hyungwon returns the hug. minhyuk then reached over to changkyun and pulled him in. they stayed there in an uncomfortable hug that was full of love for what seemed like forever.

the moment was interrupted by hyungwon groaning "hey hey, i wish we could stay here like this too, but WE HAVE SCHOOL."

minhyuk rolled his eyes and stood up straight from the hug. "i mean we don't have to go.." he knew he didn't mean it but he really did not want to go to school now. all the fears and faces of people he knew were coming back to him.

"aha.. yeah sure, okay straight A whore." changkyun joked with minhyuk. he wasn't wrong, minhyuk had always kept his grades rather high. he didn't want his mother to stress more than she does now so the least he could do was keep his grades up. "very funny. well you heard the man, let's go to school. i first have to get my things from inside." he replied while running to the door.

while minhyuk was grabbing his things from the couch where he prepared it, hyungwon started honking non-stop. minhyuk smirked and ran outside after locking the door. they still had 20 minutes until school started.

this was going to be a wild ride minhyuk thought. it just wasn't the ride he was expecting.
