You worked on helping Mike close Bill's garage door.
Bill had invited you all over to try and work out where the thing that was hunting children lived, and you had been hesitant, but you had agreed. He was setting up a projector and a map of the sewer systems in Derry on his wall, and you turned to Mike.
"I'm sorry about your parents," he said solemnly as he examined your face.
"It's okay. I-I'll live..." you replied, before glancing at Bill, who was eyeing you both with an unreadable expression, "I guess we have something in common, huh?" you tried to joke. He just cracked a sad smile.
"I... I guess so."
You walked over to Bill and stood beside him while he slipped your hand into his, and placed a small card inside the projector. It projected a map of Derry on top of the other map.
"O-okay. Look," he pointed to various spots that were marked around the map as everyone sat around the two of you, "That's where G-g-Georgie d-disappeared. There's the I-ironworks. And the Black S-spot."
"Everywhere it happens, it's all connected by the sewers," you noticed, "and they all meet up at..." you paused.
"The Well house," Ben finished. You swallowed thickly, and Bill tightened his grip on your hand.
"It's in the house on Neibolt Street," Stanley said.
"You mean that creepy-ass house where all the junkies and hobos like to sleep?" Richie asked, before noticing Eddie basically having a panic attack on the floor.
"I hate that place. I always feel like it's watching me," Beverly spoke up, and you gave her a reassuring look, which she returned.
"Th-that's where I saw it. That's where I saw the clown," Eddie told the group, and Bill gripped your hand even tighter than before, while you leaned into him.
"Th-th-that's where 'It' lives," he pointed out.
Eddie took another shot of his inhaler.
"I can't imagine anything ever wanting to live there," Stanley said, and Eddie shot up from the floor.
"Can we stop talking about this? I-I-I can barely breathe, this is summer! We're kids. I can barely breathe! I'm up here having a fucking asthma attack!" he gasped for air, before turning and ripping down the map of Derry's sewer systems, "I'm not doing this!"
"What the h-hell, put the m-map back!" Bill snapped, but Eddie just shook his head.
"Mmm-mmm!"
But then, the projector started clicking on its own.
Suddenly, it showed a picture of Georgie and their dad on the screen. You tilted your head in confusion, how was it moving on its own?
"Uhh, Bill?" You questioned, watching the screen as it flicked to another photo.
"What happened?" Stanley questioned as well.
"What's going on?!" Bill called out, and you slipped your hand out of his and began stepping toward the screen, as another picture of the Denbrough family on a carnival ride.
"I got it, hold on," Mike said, walking to the projector and fiddling with it while you came and stood next to Eddie, "guys?" he questioned as he stepped away. The screen clicked onto a family photo of the Denbrough's. It zoomed in on Georgie.
"Georgie," Bill whispered, and you turned to look at him, before turning back to the screen.
"Bill?" Stanley questioned again.
You watched as it clicked quicker and quicker, Eddie grabbing onto your side and stepping you backward when the screen zoomed in on Mrs. Denbrough, who's hair was hiding her face.
But then the projector clicked quicker and quicker, revealing that it wasn't Mrs. Denbrough...
It was that fucking clown.
"What the fuck!" Richie exclaimed behind you, while Eddie started hyperventilating beside you, before running off, leaving you face-to-face with the screen on your own.
"Y/n!" Beverly yelled while the rest of them started screaming at Bill to turn it off.
"It's IT!" Stanley yelled.
Your whole body was screaming at you to turn around and run, but you were frozen in place.
"What the fuck is that? What the fuck is that?!" Richie was yelling, but you were silent as you watched the clown start to grin at the camera.
"I don't fucking know!" Eddie answered him, grabbing onto him for dear life. You felt an arm grab you and yank you backward, and suddenly you were in Bill's arms as he walked you away from the projector.
"Turn it off! Turn it off!" Beverly screamed as Bill's arms around your waist tightened.
"Yeah, turn it off, turn it off!" Stanley screamed.
Mike ran forward, kicking the projector off of it's stand, which caused it to turn off and all it's pieces to fall out.
But it clicked back on, but this time it was tilted diagonally as it continued to click pictures of the clown.
You looked at the screen, eyes full of terror and panting slightly, as Bill held you closer to him as suddenly... the clown disappeared.
Was this the end?
You were cut off when suddenly the It came through the screen. It was bigger than when you saw it in your room, half of it's body still merged through the wall and now it turned towards Stanley. Then It started crawling towards the group. Fear overtook you.
You began to scream at the top of your lungs as Bill started to run you both towards the door of the garage while the others followed close behind.
You watched as Beverly got cornered by the clown. But before it could get her, Ben threw the garage door open, and light flooded the room... to reveal nothing.
You heard Bill let out a long sigh before holding you against his chest. You hugged him back, your legs beginning to feel weak at the thought of what just happened.
"Thanks, Ben," you heard Beverly say quietly as she wrapped her arms around him. The whole group exchanged worried glances at each other, and Bill slowly let go of you, an arm still wrapped around your waist.
"It saw us. It saw us and it knows where we are!" Eddie started hyperventilating and you looked at him with sorrow.
"It always did," Bill said gravely, he let go of you and began walking towards his bike, "so, let's go."
"Go? Go where?" Ben questioned him, and you walked to stand beside Eddie.
"Neibolt. That's where Georgie is," Bill said, and you felt your legs go weak.
"After that?" Stanley questioned in disbelief.
"Yeah. It's Summer. We should be outside-" Richie started, but was cut off by Bill again.
"I-if you say 'it's Summer' one more f-fucking time..." He didn't say anything after that, just turned around, grabbed his bike and began riding off.
"Bill!" Beverly yelled for him as she stepped forward, "Wait!"
He didn't listen and continued riding around the corner and onto the street.
You immediately stepped forward and grabbed your bike, standing it up.
"Y/n? Where are you-" Stanley began.
"I'm going to go help him, Stanley," you interrupted him, before sighing and looking into the distance, "you guys don't have to follow me. B-but Bill has a lot going on right now, with Georgie and all that. He's one of my best friends, and I'm going to help him and be by his side, and I don't care if I have to kill a bloodthirsty clown to do that."
You got onto your bike and began riding off, and it wasn't long until you heard Richie begin riding after you, and then the rest of the team followed.
