He's saying " HELP!" Repeating that as it gets quieter and quieter. She finds an old, dirty white shirt on the floor. She takes his shoe and sock off and tries her best to wrap it up. She's too afraid to remove the bullet. She doesn't want to hurt him anymore than he already is.

Still, she's crying like crazy. Can't think of anything else but that somebody was after him. She's trying to get him to talk to her. The ambulance arrives. They've got him. She rides with. She's calling his parents, but they're on vacation.
She can't do anything but hold his hand. She's always cried before in a corner, but this was a serious crying day. Like, never done before crying. They have 2 hours left before they get him to the hospital. They've put medical alcohol on and in his wound. They have flushed out the bullet. She's crying again. He's screaming in pain. The blood has stopped because they pinched the nerves and the vein with a special clamp. They're not telling her what they are doing or what might happen to him.
