Silence is all you hear upon the mountain. The whispering of the wind travelling and the leaves nearby following along to the wind. The cold night air causes my skin to shiver. They say love completes you, but I'm still searching. I've only ever had true feelings about one person and I'm unsure what do with them. So hear I am, looking up at the night sky. Hoping for an answer.

Around school you see those who are falling in love and enjoying life whilst the rest of us are still searching, trying our hardest not to fall into the mosts of loneliness. Everyone wishes they had super powers, but feeling invisible isn't what I had hoped for. Noticing you in the hallways, as you don't notice me back. I feel like a ghost. You're always out partying with your friends on the weekends wearing fancy outfits and drinking alcohol much older than you are. I wish that you were with me instead of drinking away the fake issues and insecurities. I'm always at home scribbling down the cute little things I wish I said to you. Your cute dimples in your smile make the world more freeing.

I wish I had the courage to bring you u here. We could lean against the cold railings, the wind howling through the sky, the trees below rustling is all you could hear. I'd wrap you into a blanket to keep you out of the cold. As the night progresses and the wind grows stronger you would cuddle me for warmth. We'd look out watching the world go by as we talk about the highlight of our days. The view would be astonishing. The moon, stars and clouds floating above as we'd get lost in the bright lights of the city. I'd look down your head brushing gently against my shoulder. You're the real breathtaking view.

Today's the day I ask you out. It feels like my heart is beating through my chest. I stumble into the hall. The possible responses are running through my head. "Yes! No. Do I know you?" I finally approach you and begin choking on my words, it's like a cat has my tongue. I begin to stutter, my words cluster together. Through my struggle I manage to string together "Will you go out with me?" There was a silence. Conversations begin lingering throughout the hallway. People begin pointing and adding their remarks to the situation. I begin feeling nervous. Suddenly you smile a beautiful smile and you agree. Heaven does exist

At first it took me a while to decide where to take you. There's so many choices and expectations. Fun, exciting and romantic all in one date. My first choice was going to be the cinema but I realised that's probably too generic. Every single person has their first date at the cinema, it just shows that you don't care enough to put effort in. I realised I have one special place, Mount Sugarloaf. The view from up there. The clouds. The sun. The moon and stars. They are such a romantic combination that no other date could top. So it's decided. Mount sugarloaf it is.

I arrive and see you waiting for me there. The day I never thought would come has arrived. Your purple dress brings out the sparkling sapphire blue of your eyes. You're looking up at the sky, the clouds look snow-white as they travel throughout the sky. Your hair is majestically flowing along in the wind as the powerful smell of your rose scented perfume accompanies the air around you. The brightness of the Sun causes your hair to glow a stunning gold colour matching the nearby daffodils. We lock eyes and smile. After we finally set up we began talking about school and our life over lunch. We look up at the sky above. I point up at the sky and we search for weird shaped clouds. It took awhile but eventually we find some weird shaped clouds.

Before I knew it time had flown. The spectacular stars sparkling from above look gorgeous. Your eyes look into mine, the sky goes an acid blue and there's just a huge silence. It's like the world has stopped, I take a breath and lean in and hug you. You wrap your arms around me, this is perfect. There's nowhere else I'd rather be.
