" Jimmy! Tell the boys to pack their shit and head on home to their families to spend some time with them.Wrap up anything we got going on in the shop and tell the other customers to come back Monday at eight A.M. I have to make a run to the bank before I head on home so get check the register and get everything ready for me." , said John as he washed his hands of the car grease and break dust."Yes sir",Jimmy said walking towards the back door. " HEY, BOSS SAID GET YOUR SHIT, AND GET OUT ! Have a good weekend and be back Monday."Jimmy announced. The men chuckled. " I should have everything ready for you in about five minutes sir",said Jimmy. John stood by the door waiting on Jimmy to finish up. John watched the cars drive off as the sun started to set over the horizon. "Here you are sir",Jimmy said as he handed Mr.Miles a tan folder. "Have a good weekend Jimmy, take care , get a new haircut while you're out , you look like a fucking hobo ." John laughed. "I'll make note of that , have a good weekend " Jimmy giggled as the door closed behind him . John locked the office doors and closed the shop and made his way over to his late dad's 1999 Chevrolet Silverado. The Silverado was a dark green with a missing grill that was so loud he had to turn it off to order drive through. " If stress doesn't kill me this piece of shit will" ,John mumbled as he started up the lion. John was just about home when he saw an unusual sight. There was a beautiful young lady on the side of the road which appeared to be trying to change out a flat on a beat up , white , and resilient Toyota Camry . John pulled over by the old beat up car once he noticed no one was there to help her and she had the jack under the plastic fender. " Lord have mercy " ,John giggled as he came to a stop. The lady watched the green train car pull behind her . " Here we go again", mumbled the lady. " Hello!" ,said Miles. " What do you want" , she answered. " Woah, am I intruding or something?" , asked John. "If you're going to ask me to show you my breasts or to help you out with something like the other two guys ;you can either leave or get a load of this pepper spray in your face like that one son of a bitch." ,she said trying to figure out which side of the 4-way lug-nut wrench to use. " Ma'am I a-sure you I mean nothing of that sort, I just stopped to see if you needed some help." ,said John. " Well that's what they all say , but I can a-sure you that I don't need you or anything you have in that green rust bucket. I am a strong and independent woman. I have this perfectly under control" , she said giving a sarcastic smile. "Well okay then ma'am since you want to make it all personal I hope you get moving soon being that you got maybe a solid ten minutes before that sun right there goes away. And I also hope that you can find someone that can reach so far into your ass that they can pull that stick out", John said with a sarcastic smile and turned and walked towards his truck. "A stick up my ass would be ten times better than being seen riding around in that piece of shit.",she said as he walked off. John put his middle finger in the sky as he climbed in his truck and headed back home. She watched him take off and then took out her phone ." Hey dad, do you think you can come get me. I have a flat and it's dark.",she said. "Sure sweetie, I'll be there shortly ", her father said . The now grease covered lady climbed back into her car and waited on her father to arrive. Her father pulled behind her about 20 minutes after they spoke. " I'm sorry sweetie pie, I thought all the tires were good , your mom drove this car till her last breath . She would've been proud that you got out here to change your tire. Either that or she'd look at you and tell you what'd she told you when you were little. Tessa makin a Messa . " Tessa's father giggled. " Yea, I didn't mean to get this dirty.",she said. "It's okay darling, we'll get it over to the tire shop Monday morning." He said. "Sounds good to me, I miss my car I left back at home , even though I've been so busy with this book tour I haven't even gotten a chance to drive it. It did feel good to drive SOMETHING again atleast. But thanks again dad.", she said giving her father a hug. Her father looked down and muttered,"lets head on home, dinner was already waiting on you".
