Thongsai Kaokaew is half American-Thais pro wrestler, muay thai fighter and a part time sepak takraw's striker or known as killer in Southeast Asia. He was actually born with a name Nolan Fleihr. His father is the nature boy Ric Flair while his mother is Taneekarn Kaokaew. After his parent got divorced when he just 12 years old, he followed his mother to return to Thailand and changed his name there. Since then, he never heard anything from his father. The only family member in America that ever contacted him is his eldest sister, Ashley Fleihr aka Charlotte Flair in WWE. In Thailand, he learnt to play sepak takraw with his maternal uncle, Pornchai Kaokaew and he also learnt muay thai from a gym nearby under Yodthanong Photirat aka Yodsenklai Fairtex, the winner of AXN's The Contender Asia 2008. When he was 16, he started to train in pro wrestling too as he became the earlier trainee of Gatoh Move Pro Wrestling when Emi Sakura opened it in Thailand
2 years later, he signed up with Pro Wrestling NOAH. On his debut, he defeated one of the best wrestler in NOAH, Kenoh. This is a great start for him to gain more popularity in Japan. A year later at Noah's New Year Navigation 2015, he defeated Naomichi Marufuji to become the youngest GHC Heavyweight Champion at the age of 18 years 7 months 22 days old. He's holding the title for 76 days before lost it to Minoru Suzuki. He only regained his title back on January 31 2016 during Great Voyage 2016 in Yokohama when he finally defeated Minoru Suzuki and take back his GHC Heavyweight Champion and holded it 572 days before dropped to Eddie Edwards at Summer Navigation 2017 Volume 2.
Then, he's on hiatus from Noah for nearly a year after he got news that his mother was founded positive level 3 breast cancer. He returned back to Pattaya, Thailand to taking care of his mother. He worked as a trainer and performer at Gatoh Move and Fairtex gym for full time that moment. At the same time, he making his debut at Malaysia Pro Wrestling (MyPW) where he defeated Shaukat to win the MyPW World-to-Regional Champion in his debut match MyPW Wrestlenation event. He holded it for 9 months before lost the title to The Malaysian Mafia Gotham in a 3 stages of Hell match to crown the first ever MyPW Undisputed Champion as the management had decided to unify both World to Regional and WrestleCon Championship at Face Your Fear in 30th October 2018. After his mother managed to survive and was confirmed she's now free from cancer, Thongsai Kaokaew returned to NOAH to challenge the GHC Heavyweight Champion that time, Kaito Kiyomiya where their match taking place at NOAH New Year Navigation 2019 where he succeeded to win the title.
