Chp. 3

"What do you mean we return here if we die?!" Subaru shouted at his only friend only to receive a glare from the taller male with a sigh. He turned around and helped the smaller male stand up and only now did Subaru realize how giant Jeremy actually was or rather how well built he was. He was no body builder but he would definitely bash your face right into the pavement, and that's when an idea struck him. He sprung to his feet and grinned. "Please come to the loot house with me!!" Subaru pleaded to his friend who would at least stand a chance to an attacker that just ended his life. "I would if I could, but it's better if I get to know more about this world and you just bought me more time. But if you die again, there is no fucking way ill let go there alone cause It seems that the scores you had on your exams used up all of your luck." Jeremy said and turned around, walking around the bodies of the thugs and disappeared into the crowd with Subaru trying to think of a way to not get killed.

And in the mean time, Jeremy found what appeared to be a knight walking around the town. He had short red hair, green hair and an aura that would put kindergarten teachers to shame. Our protagonist quickly made his way towards a better version of a very hated bitch from a devil harem and introduced himself. "Hey there, I see you have a sword so you must be some sort of authority around here, but it would mean that you know these grounds. I'm Jeremy and could you show me around the places worth knowing?". The man kind of smiled and held out his hand. "Would it hurt to be a bit more formal? I'm Reinhardt, nice to meet you." The knight that we now know as Reinhardt answered as Jeremy face palmed. "Excuse me Reinhardt. It's just the time is of essance and it seems I'm running out of it so I totally forgot about it. So will you show me around?"

Reinhardt could only smile at how the man treated him, he was for once seen as just a man with a sword and not some high standing noble. He agreed and showed him around the marketplace and a couple of residential area's. When they were done with the richer part of the town, Jeremy suggested he'd take him around the less fancy area of the town, slums of sort. Reinhardt was abut hesitant but agreed seeing as if he did end up here by himself he would be definitely mugged or worse. When The sun was halfway behind the horizon Reinhardt took his companion to a loot house and informed him if he ever has something stolen from him, he could find it being sold here. Jeremy thanked him and when the helpful knight took a last look at his companion, he saw him fall onto the ground unconscious.

Jeremy woke up in front of loot house with Subaru and little girl that would be every pedophiles dream by his side. Jeremy wondered, why did he wake up here and not in an alleyway like before.... Unless he was some kind of a support character? No fucking way, he pushed Subaru out of the way and kicked the door down with a simple roundhouse kick. He looked back at Subaru and glared at him like a rat that he is, he let himself die for the third time. "You're fucking garbage dude. You can't even avoid being attacked for a second, can't you?! And who is that girl next to you?!!" He yelled at his 'colleague' with only to get a dumbfounded look. "You don't remember Felt's name?" Subaru asked. "How could I remember someone I never met?!" "But you just saved me from a dagger and that's how I introduced you two..." Subaru said as he noticed an old and big fellow making his way to Jeremy with a big club in his hands. Subaru quickly got onto his knees and pleaded the giant to leave him alone as they were there only to buy an insignia and didn't mean any harm as Jeremy just lit a cigarette. They went inside and Subaru quickly started acting weird, trying to sell his cellphone as quickly as he could. Felt and Old Man Rom looked at Jeremy as he just shrugged and continued to smoke and let things go. "Subaru, if you're so great at trading, you could've gone for a salesman." He laughed at the black haired male as he desperately tried to get the insignia, until there was a knock. Felt got up and quickly made her way towards the door, saying 'it was for her' as Subaru tried to stop her verbally. As the doors opened, Subaru died inside as I watched carefully for any movement only for a familiar head to pop out and say "I wouldn't do something as horrible as that, what even gave you that idea?". Emilia now stood in the entrance as Subaru cursed her for coming whilst I saw something moving in the shadow. Seems like Subaru also noticed the movement and shouted. "Puck!! Protect her!!!" and in a flash, a weirdly shaped sword struck an even weirder panel of ice that protected the half elf from dying. A small cat appeared thanking Subaru for his keen eye and now fighting the woman that snuck upon them as Subaru and the rest hid behind the bar. Jeremy however stood next to Emilia and raised his hands, ready help the girl fight their mysterious attacker. "Oh? You're going to fight me unarmed? And I don't even feel the beautiful stench of fear from you! It's a shame that your guts will be torn out, that beautiful face and handsome body have to pack a big surprise!~" She lucked her lips as she stared the 18 year old down like he was her prey as Subaru and Emilia blushed at the mention of that, and Felt seemed to be left out on that information. "It'd be a shame that you would be the first one to see it, seeing as crazy whores aren't really my style." He took a left hook and the woman dodged, but did not expect an uppercut to come. And so she grew more and more frustrated but so did she get more and more tired. Rom joined in onto the fight and got injured and Puck had to leave as he was too tired to fight any longer. Only now Jeremy finally noticed that Subaru was helping them and Felt was gone, and He was thankful for it. But, not focusing on your opponent is a grave mistake, and he had to pay. A dagger lodged into his abdomen and Jeremy's knees quickly gave in. He sat against a wooden support and Subaru screamed his name and ran to him. He took the handle of the dagger and tried ripping it out as Jeremy took a hold of his hand. "Don't... It's slowing down the bleeding. Don't think about me and help her." He said as Subaru nodded and ran back into the fight. After a minute someone crashed into the room and destroyed the roof, and Subaru thanked heavens. "Reinhardt!! Thank God you're here!" Jeremy looked up a bit from his position and smiled weakly, seeing the familiar knight he met... Emilia quickly ran to the Old Man Rom as Subaru followed her and that's when Jeremy passed out.

He quickly awoke to find himself still sitting in the same position, with the dagger Still inside him and a lot of commotion in front of him. Reinhardt was about to make his finishing move, but because of light no one noticed the knife she was about to throw at the knight. So as the last ditch effort, the blonde pulled the dagger out and tossed it at the woman, surprising her and letting their savior finish the battle. He was half awake as the bowel hunter escaped and his hand fell to the floor, alarming everyone inside the room, and just like that he passed out yet again.

But he awoke in a bed, with a beautifully decorated ceiling and the windows welcomed in a cool breeze along with a scent of flowers from outside. He stood up and found himself in pyjama of sorts. Ignoring the fact that they were too small and only covered him to his thighs, he made his way to the door and opened them to be greeted with a hallway filled with paintings and golden decor. Hearing a commotion down the hallway, he followed the sound until a door opened and stopped him from continuing. The door was then shut and in his way stood a blue haired girl with maids clothes on. She must've not seen him (Must be blind to not see a giant) and walked right into him but because of the size of him she was quickly knocked back. Her reflexes told her to get a hold of something to stop herself and that's what she did, taking down the robes with her down to the ground. "Sorry, I shouldve said something but I just hoped you would notice me" Jeremy apologized as he extended his hand to her as she shook her head. "No, no it's my fault. I shouldve seen you.... ... Coming..." She slowed down as she looked up at him, and then down at his hand... Well he hoped she looked at his hand. She started blushing and with a sigh, Jeremy bent over and picked up the robe, tying it around his waist like it's a towel. He helped the maid stand up and decided it would be best for him to wait for Subaru to wake up and talk about the future, so he went to the garden seeing it was visible from every part of the house.
