Chapter 2 (pg.1)

As I get ready for school I see my phone ring and go to answer it but seeing that it was dion I decided not to

After getting my t shirt and underwater out I went to shower which gave me a lot of time to think about what happened yesterday

I hated not talking to dion but I know if I talk to him while I'm alone I'll become more vulnerable and let him do whatever and that can't happen or I'll just continue to hurt

After about 25 minutes I got out the shower and realized I had about 20 more minutes before I have to get dropped off so I did my hygiene and put my clothes on

Once I got down stairs I seen my father eating a breakfast sandwich "wheres mom?" I ask

"She had to go into work early today so I have to drop you off" my father says getting his keys

"Ok" I say as we get in the car

"Are you ok lil man" my father says as he drives

"Yeah" I say

"You sure? You seemed a little off ever since you got in the house yesterday" he says trying to keep his eyes on the road

"yes.... me and Dion just had an argument" I say 

"what he do?" my father says shaking his head 

"how'd you know it was his fault" I say looking at him

"your my son and as long as you have been friends with Dion I know you only try to help him and do what's best for him" he says

"so what did he do?" my father asks again

"well.... he got jealous because he thought someone was flirting with me" I say

"were they?" my father asks

"I mean I'm not totally sure I was just helping him stretch because they didn't have enough cheerleaders" I say

"did you do anything that would make it seem like something was going on?" my father asks

"I mean we were talking and laughing" I say smiling a little 

"could it be my son is in love?" my father says as I start laughing

"I am not in love and I don't even know if I like boys" I say being honest

"well you know I will love and support you with whatever you do unless you become a pornstar" my father says with a straight face

"yes" I say playfully rolling my eyes

"but on the topic at hand it just seems like Dion is scared he is gonna lose you, you know he has abandonment issues from his parents death and his baby momma" my dad says

"yea I know, your probably right and now I kind of feel bad" I say with a frown

"its ok,friends fight just make sure you don't let it break you two apart" my father says as he pulls up to the school

"thanks for this talk pops" I say

"any time little man now get to school, I love you" my father says

"love you too" I say getting out the car and walking into the building making a mental note to apologize to Dion

as I walk into school I go into the lunchroom deciding to get something to drink from the breakfast line then go and find Dion

once I got out the line I spotted Dion sitting at a table with Dashawn and Autumn making sure to get ready for Autumn's fakeness

I take a seat at the table "hey guys" I say
