I grabbed my books for 1st and 2ond period then waited by Ms. Lindum's door for Callie.
"Hi!" Callie called as she ran up to me.
I jumped really badly and inhaled sharply (probably because I didn't get enough sleep).
"Sorry I didn't mean to scare you." Callie said.
"No I just get j-jumpy when I'm over tired. Not your fault." I apologized, handing her the homework. 'Oh, well, see you in next next class." She said and ran off. It was strange how much she reminded me of my best friend at the end of 7th grade. In 8th grade she moved and I never saw or talked to her again because she didn't have a phone and her mom switched numbers. Her name was Kelsy and she had blonde/brown/redish hair though the eyes were similar..."uh Callie," I whispered to her in History, "what's your last name? I'm just curious" After all, people could change. Take me for example: a girl pretending to be a boy who only dyed and cut her hair a year ago and always wore glasses.
" Oh, it's Greenfields." She whispered back.
Kelsy Greenfields. My bestfriend and partner in crime. The more I looked at Callie the more I saw Kelsy. But should I tell her that I am James Mazotti? I trusted that she wouldn't tell my secrect of really being girl but that didn't push my decision one way (to tell her) or another (not to tell her).
