"hey Callie!" I said. We had planned to meet at the Tim Horton's an hour before school to catch up since it was in walking distance.
"So did you bring that whatchamacallit thing?" she asked. "yeah my voice alternator. So here's how it works..." and then I explained the whole thing. "ok well i'm relatively lost but it sounds amazing." Callie exclaimed. I had shown her different accents, voices, languages, and how to control it. We caught up with bagels and a few donoughts, then I pegged her on my bike to school. (The garage was cleared just enough to find my bike and get it out.) Callie liked Mikey and a few days ago when Mikey found out I l was friends with Callie he told me he liked her. Obviously I was gonna try to set them up. During lunch time I talked to Mikey. "You should really ask Callie out. If you just wait for her to ask you or whatever, some other she'll end up with some other dude." I said. "But what if she doesn't like me?!' Mikey paniced. Bro, just grow a pair and ask her out." Ollie laughed. "Yeah, and if she doesn't like you and you get embarassed-" Frankie cut me off "You have my permission to kill us!" he finished. "Dude no. I'd like to live thanks." I countered. "i'd probably kill you three anyway, without your permission if I get embarassed." Mikey scowled. "And we'd sit back with popcorn, watching the show." Sam said, motioning to himself and Johnny.
"ok so I trip her by sliding my foot out and then you catch her and ask her out!" Frank whispered. "You two are evil geniuses that are gonna get me killed someday," Mikey said as he got jittery. I walked around the corner and asked challenged Callie to a race to her locker after lunch. "Ok but i'll totally win," She said and rounded the corner. The plan went perfect (something bad would probably happen later). Callie tripped over Frankie's foot, Ollie filmed it, Sam and Johnny peeked out from behind Ollie, and Mikey caught her. "Are you okay?" Mikey asked. "Oh god! Sorry, yeah i'm ok." she said, incredibly flustered. "Would you like to go out sometime?" Mikey said with a nervous glance in our general direction. Callie hadn't noticed our small party of witnesses which was definatly a good thing. "I'd love to!" She yelled. We left them alone with a wink.
