These ceremonies are celebrated in Shintos (Shinto Temples), they can meet in restaurants or hotels done for the ocasion, these sanctuaries are normally simple and clean.
The first to enter are the guests, then the couple: the bride enters hand in hand with her mother, and after they get married she goes out hand in hand with her mother-in-law , the groom enters and exits with his father.
The ceremony is normally simple and fast, it doesn't last more than 20 minutes, there, the couple accomplish the purification ritual, they read engagement words and they offer things to the Kami (the shinto gods).
But the most important part is the San Sankudo (Means three times three to nine), then they exchange the engagement rings and the Juzu (Some kind of Rosary), then the couple makes a promise of marriage in front of Gohonzon (A holy Japanese object), they do it drinking three sips of Sake (Rice Liquor), first man, then woman, it represents the union of the body, mind and soul. At the ending the guests follow the couple to the place they will take a family picture.
