Chapter 1

Rileys' POV

Looking back on the fairytales that I read and dreaming about marrying a prince and living in a castle... it's all so ridiculous!! I am not turning 17 and realize all of that was crap and fake. So all you children out their dreaming of fairies and magic! Well, here's a newsflash... IT'S NOT REAL! If you think I'm being harsh, you may want to hear how I know all of this. Seriously!! It's like went to Hell and back!

"Come on Riley!! We're gonna be late for my first day of school!!" Wined my little sister Eleyna. "I don't see why you like school anyways." I said tiredly. "I don't, but today we have field day!! It's gonna be awesome!!" She said excitedly. "Oh, well I guess that makes sense." As we made our way down the street I see a guy staring at us again. A wierd guy in a Nike shirt and jeans has been stalking me for the past month or so. Always the same one in the same clothes.

As I drop my sister off and school I text my best friends, Hailee and Caroline, to come and pick me up. Once they come for me we drove off to Ridgeway high school. Since its the first day, we have to go get our schedules and check to see if we have any classes together. We all have lunch, math, and science together, Score!!! As we head out to our first period classes I get pulled out by the wierd Nike guy. "Are you Riley?" He demands. "Yeah, who's asking??" I ask confused. "Come with me." He says as he drags me away. "Whoa whoa whoa! Dude, as much as I would love to skip school, do you mind telling me who you are and, oh I don't know, possibly who you are?!" I ask confused. "I will explain on our way their, and I'm Alex by the way," he says kind of rushing. God, who put Red Bull in your coffee this morning??
