The next time they saw each other it was a thursday , 27th of November to be exact, also known as thanksgiving. Her family stopped celebrating thanks giving the winter of her sisters death, because at that time it felt as though there was nothing to be thankful for. Everybody was going down west Sacramento to this cafe, where Kyle and his band were playing. Although that started at 7:00pm and it was only 4:00pm and the unholy trinity ( Cartier, Gabriella and Jenna) we're all hanging out in Jennas pool. Cartier wished she had a house like Jennas, it was beautiful and big... Cartier always thought it must be nice growing up knowing that there's no way possible you would end up a nobody and homeless, Cartier was scared that was how she would wind up, but she knew Jenna and Gab would never of even thought that way and it must of felt nice.
"So Cartier?" Jenna asks dragging out the 'So'
Carter rolled her eyes
"yes...?"
"what did you think of Kyle?"
why does she care Carty thinks to herself
everyone, especially Jenna knows Cartier fanning does not do boyfriends
"Just seemed like you two had a good chat" Jenna stated
"as if you could tell, you were too busy snogging with ruiz"
"um first of all i wasn't and second of all i had i secondary source" Jenna said nodding to Gab
"YOU BITCH!" Cartier yells tackling Gabby in the water
after a goog ten minutes of wrestling in the water the three girls calm down and swim to the edge of the pool
"but seriously carty, jonah told me kyle thought you were cute" says jenna
"God, Jen can we hop off this" carty exclaimed
"no, just give him a chance, you never know"
"jenna stop. just don't push it" Gabby tells jenna
"I'm not pushing anything, i just dont uderstand why you can't give the guy a chance you're seventeen, can't you just have fun?"
"No i can't just have fun, you don't understand, i'm working my ass of so i don't fail senoir year so i can get out of here and actually get a good life, two days ago was the second annerversery of my sisters death and my mom could be dead of all i know, so yeah i'm fucking hurting man and no i don't have time for another boy whos going to leave me heart broken in a matter of months"
