Cartier was in maths class, she sat behind Gabby with Jenna to her left. The girl who she remembered to be Julie was sat behind Carter with Lady girl next to her, Jenna and her stupid minions were all talking about Jenna's first time with Jonah Ruiz. See by minions i mean the girls she hangs around when Gabriela and Cartier had had enough of her. Neither Carty or Gabby were listening (they've sadly heard the story enough) Cartier's nose was stuck in a book, with her legs propped up the her desk and Gabby was the only girl in the class doing the work, Gabby's getting into Harvard, it's not for sure but she's Gabriela Johnson, the smartest girl of all east Sacramento so of course she was getting in.
"Hey Gab, Cart, did you hear that?" asked Jenna
"what?" the two girls asked at the same time
" Lady bird here is gonna help me get Sarah Joan back, wanna help?" asked Jenna
Gabby and looked at eachother and shook their heads
"we're good" the two girls said in sync
"God are you two like girlfriends or something, Jesus" a blonde girl sitting in front of jenna said in a bitchy tone
" i genuinely couldn't even guess your name if i tried" Cartier told the girl
" it's karen"
" well that's why" she whispered before returning to her book
"Well how are you guys even gonna get to the deuce if i'm with with Lady bird?" Jenna asked returning to there original conversation
"we'll walk" Gabby said still doing her work
" that will take at least 20 minutes"
"Maybe with your 2cm long legs, we could do it it ten" Gabby said with the most monotone voice standing up and handing her work to the teacher
Cartier let out a sniffled laugh as the bell went and her and gabby left the class, Jenna parted off ways with Lady bird
" God sometimes she annoys me" Gabby said
Cartier knew exactly who she was talking about but it was weird because Gabby was always the nice on everyone instantly liked, she would never talk behind someones back in a million years
"She means well Gab" Cartier told the girl her she linked arms with her
"you see i always thought that but i really don't think she does"
"what are you saying?"
"do people really mean well when all they wish on others is bad things" Gabby said
" I-i don't know"
"the short answer is no Cartier"
Cartier shrugged, she didn't want to admit it to herself
