It took three days for me to recover. Or at least feel well enough to travel. "Where are we heading?" I asked.

"We heard there was a place with walls and supplies in Nashville, Tennessee." Kamryn informed. "We have about a week to travel." We entered the woods with tall birch trees surrounding us. I heard crackling coming from my left. Feet were crushing the leavings that were fallen below us. It was a walker.

I fired a shot at it. I stared at it blankly, feeling no remorse or pity for the undead creature. I bent down to pick up the bag it held, looking through the contents of it. I saw a bag of chips and a bottle of water. That was it. I looked back at the corpse and caught up with the group. The first time I saw a walker is when my mother died, I'd rather not say anymore.

"What the hell, Luke." We heard an Australian accent from a distance. We got our weapons ready, slowly moving towards the sound. I saw four teenage boys wandering around.

One had drum sticks and a bandana. A boy with black hair held the bass guitar. One with brown-ish hair held a microphone, and another held a regular guitar. They all held instruments. It was strange. Was it their weapons? Once they spotted us they dropped their instruments or weapons or whatever and held their hands up.

"Oh shit. What do we do, Ashton?" The one with black hair said.

"Uh, I don't know." Ashton said. "What do you want from us?" He said in a slightly louder voice.

"Who are you?" Kayla asked them.

"My name is Ashton." The boy with the bandana said.

"I'm Michael." The one with the guitar and strange hair said.

"I'm Calum." The guy with black hair said.

"U-uh. I'm Luke, and by the way, you ladies are lookin' good today." He said.

"Disgusting, pervert." I said sticking my tongue out. "Where are you guys heading to?"

"There's this place in Nashville with walls and supplies. We are hoping we could make it there." Ashton said. He seemed to be the more mature one in the group.

"We're going the same way. We could travel together till then." Ashlyn stated.

The heat radiating from the sun gives me nothing but the urge to drink water. We didn't have much left.

"It's too hot out here." I groaned. I wiped the sweat off my forehead with my one and only hand. We keep roaming until we hit a small town.

"There's a market here. We should check it for supplies or something." Kamryn broke the silence.

"Alright, but you guys are going in first." Ashlyn pointed at the boys. They sighed then nodded. They got their weapons/instruments ready and slowly opened the door.

I heard growling so I turned my said quickly to see Michael whacking it in the head several times with his guitar. So they are weapons. "Are there anymore?" Michael questioned.

Ashton got out his drums sticks and started tapping the wall next to him. "No, I don't think so. That would have gotten their attention."

"PUT YOUR WEAPONS DOWN AND NO ONE WILL GET HURT!" We all heard.
