Shit.
That's all I could thing as I ran around my room, frantically packing everything I had. Even with the two week notice, I had still managed to procrastinate the simple task of packing until the very last minute, like usual.
"Jamie, I SWEAR TO GOD, if you aren't ready in ten minutes I'm leaving without you!"

Although I loved my mom, she was definitely the main reason I was going to a college out of state. From a young age she managed to control every aspect of my life, from who I was friends with to what sports I played. If she knew that I had left all of this packing til now, I'm convinced she'd have my head.

"One sec!" I called from my bedroom. I had somehow managed to finish and hour of packing in about 5 minutes. I'd have been impressed with myself if I wasn't aware of the fact that there was no way I remembered everything. Taking a last look around my room, a feeling of remorse passed over me. This week had been the definition of a pile of shit, and although I was happy to leave this town, I still was sad to leave behind the few happy memories it held. Holding back tears I sprinted to the car with my bags in tow. My mom looked my up and down and gave me a I'm sad your leaving and all but couldn't you not dress like a hobo for the plane kinda look. Thanks mom. Brushing past her I jumped into the front seat of the car throwing my brown hair into a messy bun. I had the nagging feeling I was forgetting something, but it wasn't until we were about a half an hour away that I realized.

Shit.

Shoes.

After hours of my mom nagging me on the plane about how i was stupid and incompetent, I finally fell into a restless sleep, only to have pretty great dream. Me crashing my new car that I had been saving up for for two years. It was great.

My friend Emily and I had been normally driving to the only good ice cream place in town when a squirrel decided to ruin my day and practically hurl itself in front of my car. No matter how annoying the little rodent was, I'd rather hurtle myself off a cliff that kill that poor cute animal. Shifting my car to the side as quickly as I could, both Emily and I went flying into a tree that had decided to make an appearance right in front of us. Pretty great if you ask me.

Now, when I talk about Emily being a "friend", I use that term lightly. We had been great friends throughout Middle School, but I could tell that she had wanted to drop me more and more as the years progressed. She ended up being, what you'd call, a pretty toxic friend.

After starting a few rumors about me, including some that involving a fake pregnancy and a nose job, I decided to drop dat bitch. Except I very much didn't. Instead, she shed a few fake tears and my and my sad ass decided to fall for it. We were good for a few months, but as soon as the horrendous car crash, she decided to destroy my life once again. This time though, she said I had tried to KILL HER.

Sadly these rumors spread through the school like wild fire and my life started slowly falling apart. My boyfriend decided to not be with a "psycho bitch" like me, and all my friends dropped my in order for their own "safety". It was ass. Not only that, but my only love, soccer, soon fell apart too. After the coach, who was coincidental Emily's dad, heard the news about my attemptive murder, he decided to make my life as miserable as possible. Until finally I snapped.

Knowing that he would drive me to quitting eventually, I decided to leave on my own terms. Let's just say that releasing a few dozen spiders into the coaches daughters locker will definitely get you kicked off the team. Oops.
