*Zyah in the mm*
I woke up the next morning at 9 am. I needed to go get Kayleb so I decided to get ready. I got out of bed and walked in the bathroom. I took a 15 minute shower then got out.
"Shit" I yelled when the cold air hit me. I quickly grabbed the towel and wrapped it around me. Walking into my room I searched for something to wear. I pulled out a white tee shirt black joggers and white converse. I walked in the bathroom and brushed my hair into a high ponytail then added a black headband. I brushed my teeth and washed my face then went downstairs. I walked out the door and down the hall to Ms.Sandra house. I knocked on the door and waited for her to open. She came to the door with a nightgown and hair rollers in her head like she just woke up.
"Hey Ms.Sandra I'm here to pick up Kay."
"Oh hold on baby let me go get him" She said disappearing into the house.
She came back with Kayleb and I handed her 150 for keeping him.
"You had fun at Ms.Sandra house Kayleb" I asked while unlocking the door
"We played Family Feud on the tv and it was really funny" he said
We walked in the house and went ran him some bath water. He doesn't like me bathing him anymore so I start his water then let him be. When the water was finished he dashed straight into the bathroom. Lawd that boy loved being clean.
I went into his room and picked out his outfit for today. I pulled out a black polo shirt, white jeans and all black timberlands. I took the clothes and put them on the counter in the bathroom. About 10 minutes later Kayleb came out the bathroom fully dressed.
"Momma where we going today" he asked
"Umm I was thinking me you and tee tee Zy can go to the mall today."
"Ok then and can you do my hair please cause it's in my way." he complained
I looked back at him and he looked like a lion. His hair was all over his head. I shook my head then grabbed his hair bucket. I turned on Bubble Guppies for him while I did his hair.
About 45 minutes later I was finished braiding his hair. I really didn't have anything to do so I decided to call up my best friend Zyah.
Zyah and I have been through hell and back together that's why she my main bitch. We've know each other our whole life basically. She was there when I gave birth to Kayleb and immediately asked to be a godmother.
I called her phone and she picked up on the second ring.
"Hello" she answered
"Hey bess whatchu doing" I asked
"Pulling into yo condos"
"Well damn"
" Guh come open the door"
"Bye chick"
I hung up the phone and made my way to the front door. When I opened the door she was standing right in front of it
"Damn bitch did you run" I asked while shutting the door
"Nigga you know Imma fast walker" she said while plopping on my couch
"By the way Me you and Kayleb going to the mall later." I told her
"Looks like I came dressed for the occasion then"
I took a look at her outfit and she was wearing black and white bandana joggers with a white shirt and all white Nikes. Her hair was pulled up in a bun.
I checked the time and it was 12:33. So I decided that we was gon leave at 1.
I jumped on couch and laid on Zyah. If anybody didn't know us they would think we are a lesbian couple.
"Where my baby at" I asked
"She with my daddy"
Zyah had a 2 year old daughter named Brooklyn. She was the most precious thing ever.
"You need bring my baby over here one day" I said
"I'll bring her over here tomorrow" she said while getting up
I called Kayleb down to tell him Brooklyn was coming over tomorrow. I heard him coming down the stairs and decided to scare him. I hid on side the stairs and waited for him to hit the bottom. As soon as he hit the bottom I jumped out and screamed. He yelled and took off running dead into Zyah
" Kainna what you doing my baby" she said while picking him up
"Tee tee she scared me" he said while putting his head in her neck
"Want me to beat her up" she asked
He nodded and started laughing
She put him down then tackled me. We started to play fight and Kayleb was rolling on the floor laughing. We stopped and Zy's bun was lopsided and my hair tie had popped.
I went in Kayleb's hair bucket and got one of his hair tie then re-tied my ponytail. I looked at the time and it was 12:56.
"Yall ready" I asked
They responded with yea so we headed to the car. We took off and Hold you down was playing. It also so happen to be on August part

"Girl you love yo self some September." Zyah said looking in her phone
I smacked her upside the head " Bitch it AUGUST not no damn September and yes I love me some August."
"Whatever nigga" she said looking back into her phone
We pulled into the parking lot and started looking for a parking space.
About 10 minutes later we found one and got out. I grabbed Kayleb's hand and we walked in to the mall.
As soon as we walked in all eyes were on us. A bitch like me loved the attention.
(I don't want to describe the the whole mall trip)
* 2 hours later *
We started to become hungry so we made our way to the food court.
"Kayleb do you want Canes" I asked
"Yes please"
" Ok" I responded " Aye Zy we going get Canes"
"Alright" she said walking away
We ordered our food and went found a table. I saw Zyah sitting at an empty table so we made our way over there. We sat down and started eating.
I looked around the mall and noticed a very familiar face.
It's him.
