Chapter 1: Pilot

I took in a soft breath as I turned to lay on my side, today was my 18th birthday the day I was forced to leave my family to go find my lover.

The day I never imagine to come so quickly in my years of living, the day my parents were finally happy to sell me off to some random people like it was normal for them.

They just didn't care for me.

They never did.

Packing my suitcase and bags I take a deep breath before turning to face my little brother who has tears waiting to escape his tiny little eyes "do you have to go Ophelia" he said softly, I raised this boy and he held onto me for dear life, and now he has to let me go.

"I'm sorry"

It was all that could leave my mouth, it was mom and dads fault, blame then "I'll be back I promise" I cupped his tiny face before giving his head a soft tender kiss, this place was horror for me, everyday I'd be locked up, away from the outside world.

Placing my suitcase on the wall, my eyes would dart from every angle of my room, now somewhat empty, my little brother watching my every move like a hawk, I wasn't ready to leave him but I had to, this place wasn't the best for me.

Moving to another home, the words left my parents mouth, as soon as I woke up, the news they told me broke my heart into little pieces.

'Your moving out' my mom told me in such a harsh manner, I was a sweet angel until I ruined my parents marriage.

Flashback

On my 10th birthday, I was so happy, I was prepared to show my parents what I had gotten from my friend, my father was at work late again, so I would have just shown him once he got home.

Walking inside the house, my little feet being quiet, thinking that my mother was asleep at this time.

Making my way towards her close door, soft noises escaping underneath the door, they caught my attention, slowly making my way over, turning the knob so slowly and quietly, my eyes widen at the sudden scene placing in front of my eyes.

My mom in bed....

With another man.

"Mommy."

The words left my mouth quicker then a train could go on a track.

Her head turning to face me with a quick shocked face, instant regret "Honey! It isn't was it looks like, please!" She cried out stumbling towards me, reaching out to touch my tiny face.

"that isn't daddy." I moved away from her, looking at the male now in the spot that my dad would lay in.

"Don't tell daddy sugar ok"

How could you.

How could you break our family up.

But they were in denial, they bother were, my dad said it was her fault, my mom said it was mine.

"I'll miss you Tae" I said gently before heading downstairs to meet my mother and step father, the same man my mom cheated on with my actual dad.

"Give us a good bye kiss?"

The words left my mother mouth, sounding fake, I snarled before turning to face my mother "You don't deserve it." I clenched the strap to my bag and grabbed my handle to my suitcase before heading out the door.
