After arriving on Amazon Lily and making a relationship with Boa Handcock the ruler of that country. She heard news about Ace's execution. She went to Impel Down to rescue Ace. Boa helped her as her face turned pink. At discovering the reason why. It took a lot of convincing but she agreed.
Impel Down
Once Lucy infiltrated the prison she ran into an old foe. Buggy the clown. Buggy" Wah straw hat aren't you suppose to be in East blue. Did you come to save me I knew you were drawn to my charm." Iva-chan agreed to help them she was relieved that she wasn't in this alone. Her heart got heavy as she was getting closer and closer to Ace. Only to find an empty cell. Lucy didn't give up so she recruited Jinbei,Buggy, Iva-chan, Crocodile, Bon-chan and Mr.3.
They escaped the prison and rushed to Marineford to save Ace.

Marineford
The raging battles began when Whitebeard and his men from the New World to save Ace. Ace was chained down in sea prism cuffs. Sengoku and Garp were standing on opposite sides of Ace. Ace was regretting every choice he made all except one . He never regretted the moment he asked Lucy to marry him. He lost all hope in himself but then he looked up.
Everyone looked up and it was a falling marine ship. Then their eyes went wide as the sun opened up. And revealed it was Lucy and prisoners from Impel down. Lucy opened her mouth for all to hear. " ACE I'M HERE!!!" She counted to fall until she had an idea. Lucy"I'll be fine I can fly." She them spreaders her wings and began fly in the air. Mr.3" That's great for you but what about us." Buggy was blaming Lucy, Ivankov was pleading for help. Until Lucy used her water powers to open a small space of water to make a soft landing.
Later
Jinbei pulled at the df users out of the water. Lucy was smiling at Ace on the platform. Then she saw Crocodile head to Whitebeard to take his head. She wasn't letting that happen. Whitebeard wasn't worried. W.B" Sand brat never learns." Lucy then kicked Crocodile but he dodged her kick. Lucy" I won't let you touch Pops." Whitebeard smiles at Lucy. " Well I see your as spirited as ever Lucy good to see you." Lucy" You top pops how's it going." Buggy" She's talking time them like their equals." Lucy has a talk with Whitebeard and ran off to save Ace. She punched and kicked her way to the platform. Then a giant came out of no were and attacked her. Once they got Ace the Whitebeard's began to retreat. But Akainu wasn't letting that happen. He started to provoke Ace." TAKE IT BACK YOU BASTARD!!" Akainu" You know it's true all of you deserve the gallows!" Akainu and Ace through punches. Ace got burned and was in deep shit. Akainu was ready to kill Lucy. Then Ace jumped in front of her and took the punch through his heart.Everyone was in shock Lucy could only see Ace coughing up blood and gasping for air. Ace then dropped on his knees but Lucy catches him. Akainu was about to attack again but was stopped by Sabo and Marco. Sabo" Get Ace our of here know." Lucy carried Ace's body but then fell down. She used what little strength she had left to move her body. Ace" Lucy you need to stop." Lucy" I won't stop not until your safe." Ace didn't move." Lucy I'm sorry I cannot see you achieve your dream. Or see you walk down the isle." Ace slowly began to close his eyes." Ace please don't close your eyes you have to live longer don't give up Ace!" Lucy shouted but Ace couldn't hear her pleading he could only smile as he saw her face. Then breathed his last. Ace's body dropped on the ground as blood splattered everywhere on the ground. Lucy could only look at Ace's cold body. Then she began to cry. She cried like a baby and howled like a wounded animal. Lucy's cry was just the beginning of what was about to happen.
Her tears fell on Ace's lifeless body and a ominous glow emitted from her body. Her hair began to float in mid- air. Her clothes began to change in a strapless white dress. Then a crescent moon marking appeared on her forehead. She opened her eyes to see marines looking at her with awe. She got up and looked at Ace's dead body. She got on her knees and held it in her arms. Until she heard a heartbeat. It was faint but enough for Lucy's heart to stop aching. She then did something unexpected. " Kiss of life." She gave Ace a kiss on the lips. Even though he is close to death she kissed him in front of the whole wide world. Marines were crying a little and turning red. She then removed her lips from his and teleported Ace's body to the Moby Dick. Lucy then looked at Whitebeard with a blank expression. She was actually having a conversation with him. Psychologically. (Inside of Lucy's head)" Pops Ace is alive and knocked out cold. Tell the others to retreat and head to Ruskineska." Whitebeard shouted" Men return back to the New World. We'll make it their together as a family. NOW GO!" Whitebeard's men gave a battle cry and ran to their fleet ships. Sabo" Pops what about Lucy we can't leave her." Whitebeard" Have faith in Lucy she gonna come back to us I promise." Sabo hesitated at first but ran to the Moby Dick. Akainu wasn't going to let this slide so he went to kill Whitebeard. But was stopped by Lucy. Akainu was pushed back by Lucy's waves. Then out of nowhere. The fat ass ( Blackbeard)came out of the blue. Him and his crew. Their were going to kill Whitebeard. Lucy was getting piss with the fact that people are trying to kill her pops. She then flew high in the sky. And opened the clouds the sky was bright and shining. Everyone including Blackbeard looked at Lucy and thought' is she an angel'. Lucy began chanting" Celestial spirits of the 12 gold keys. Lend me the power to seal away evil. Open 12 gates THE ZODIAC!" Then suddenly 12 figures appeared out of nowhere and started destroying everything marine in its path. Sengoku muttered to himself while holding Garp down." So this is the power of the moon goddess. A woman of many mysteries." Once Akainu was dead( actually unconscious) and Blackbeard dead ( nigga ran he fat ass away an was assumed dead). Lucy then began to fall to the earth and her body began to sink in sea water. Until Jinbe catches her and began to swim to some place safe.
On the Moby Dick
The other commanders were crowded around Ace's body. Ace began to move and twitch as he regained conciseness. Ace was have a deep dream' Don't worry Ace I'll always be with you until the end of time.said the girl'' but I'm just a the devils son you shouldn't be near me.' The girl didn't care.' She gabbed his hand and looked into his black soulless eyes.' Everyone began cheering and crying at the same time they were just really happy that Ace was alive. Ace than answered a question" Where's Lucy." Then everything went silent. Sabo sighed and answered." Lucy stayed behind. She told us to retreat to Ruskineska." Ace's face began to darken." So she stayed behind to save our asses including mine. I thought we never left anyone behind!" He shouted. Ace just walked out of the infirmary and lock himself in his room. Marco sighed" I'll retrieve him yoi." Whitebeard put his huge hand in front of Marco to stop him." No he needs space." Then from that day Ace began to grow a darkness that could only have Lucy put it out. He only waited patiently for Lucy to come back to him.
