I watch the sun rises in the east and sets in the west;

I hear the birds chirping in the forest and in my window pane;

I see people happily walking in the streets by the confines of my room,

And I think of another song that reminds me of hope.

"For God so loved the world

That he gave his only Son

And whoever believes will not perish

They shall have eternal life"

And here I am again opening my eyes with the truth.

I never watch the sun as it rises or even when it sets,

For I am hang up with the money I am going to earn.

I never hear the birds chirping in the forest;

For there is no forest at all, only building that rise higher as it goes.

People are walking in the streets now.

Oh no! They are running in the streets.

Faces stricken with frustrations, anger, panic, despair and disbelief.

And I ask why it's happening all of a sudden.

A place once a haven of love, beauty and booming economy,

Now a piece of dwindling plastic because of a fire I can call a disease of the century.
