I was flying around the lost boys camp like usual when tinker bell flew up to me "hey tink-" "peters gone" she said cutting me off. "he's what" I said stopping in mid air "he's gone, he left us" "how could he" I said flying back to my room "I know" she said "can you go check on the lost boys I need some time to myself to think" i said as I opened the door close to tears but I wouldn't let them fall. "of course" "thanks tink" I said shutting the door and letting my tears fall "y/n" I looked up to see rufio standing there. "Oh hey rufio" I said hurriedly wiping my eyes "what's wrong" he said concern lacing his voice. "I'm fine" "y/n you can trust me" he said. I couldn't hold it back anymore I broke down a sob escaping my lips. Rufio rushes over to me wrapped me in a tight hug and let me cry on his shoulder. He carefully picked me up with surprising strength and set me on my bed still holding me tight to him. "It's ok I've got you" he said positioning me in his lap with my arms still around his neck. I finally got control of my breathing and looked up at him "now tell me what happened" he said softly "p-peters gone h-he left" I said "he can't be gone" rufio said a hint of worry in his voice "I never thought I would ever hear you worried" I said smirking "I guess that means you don't need me anymore" he said moving to get up "no stay -sorry it kinda slipped out "it's fine I think it's adorable" he said smirking "I am a lot of things but I am NOT adorable got it" I said death glaring him "yes m'am" he said still smirking "I guess that means I have to lead the lost boys" I said staring back up at him "you'll do fine your an amazing leader" he said smiling down at me "will you be my co leader" I said hopefully "of course" "I understand if you don't want to- wait you said yes" "yes I would love to be your co leader, but maybe I could be even more" he said winking at me " oh shut it" I said punching his arm playfully "thank you" I said hugging him. "It was nothing really" he said blushing a little "I'll have to repay you some day" I say winking at him as I stand up "where are you going" he said standing up too "well someone has to tell the lost boys what happened" I said "we both will he said grabbing my hand and intertwining it with his "thank you" as we walked out the door.
