...
"Hurry up kid!" the old man shouted at the Young Arthur who's gaze was locked unto the Clashing waves and the azure horizon just behind the rotting planks of the ships in the pier,
"u-hm, Sorry " Arthur said quickly running, trying to catch up with the old man, 'this man walks fast' Arthur thought as he observed the man's foot-steps, short yet nimble movement,
"Quit daydreaming you little fool" the old man said, not even wasting a second to look back, after a few minutes of walking, they reached their destination,
A old-dusty house sitting above a cliff, Beautiful view but very dangerous too, although it was just a few kilometers away from town,
"Here we are, make yourself at home, because, tis is your new home, got that?" the old man said looking at Arthur, his eyes teary, "C'mon lad there is more to life ahead of you, I know tis painful to lose people in your life, but you gotta look ahead got that?"
The boy nodded, wiping his tear soaked eyes " now let's get inside might be a bit cold for you out there" the old man said ruffling the young boy's hair, the interior was completely different from how it looked outside, the boy couldn't help but gasp at the sight, the old man mere chuckled when he saw the boy's reaction.
'It looks Quite- quite'
"amazing?" the old man took the words out the boy's mouth
"yeah, its amazing, it looks just like our hous-" the boy didn't continue the words as his complexion darkened, memories came rushing, sullen screams of his mother burning to death, the boy held his trembling hands. the old man saw the boy's reaction and said
"Enough about the house, how 'bout we grab something to eat" the old man smiled, as he sensed the unpleasant sadness in the boy's eyes. "Come" the old man said inviting the boy to sit and eat, a forced smile crept into Arthur's lips.
At least he had somebody to call family now.
