The faint sound of birds touches my ears and my eyes blink open. How long have I been asleep? When did I fall asleep? A small sliver of light is visible about maybe twelve feet away. So I am in a cave. My mouth is dry, and I stick my tongue out to lick my cracked lips. My eyes wander and I see that the walls of my prison are a dark grey, looking as if they're damp. I look down at my ankle only to find that a patch of new skin is in the place of the ugly torn flesh I had felt before.
I'm changing, I realize. A small burning still resides though not as uncomfortable. A pounding in my head starts and I gasp. I groan as I feel my head suddenly start throbbing in pain. I hold my head in my hands, my bloody matted hair in my fingers. What is happening to me?
