SEQUEL of A Different Route. Naruko comes back from the training trip stronger then before but something is strange. Have she lost her light and fallen in the darkness.
Naruko was sleeping in her tent when Jiraiya woke her up. It had been two years since she has left Konoha and she had grown incredibly strong. She had trained in ninjutsu, taijutsu, genjutsu, kenjutsu and in her bloodlines. She had managed to form her chakra chains and had mastered them. She and Jiraiya had completed the rasengan. They had invented four new techniques with rasengan as their base. Jiraiya had succeeded to add fire chakra to the rasengan with the help of Naruko and had named the technique 'Fire Style: Flaming Rasengan'. Naruko had managed to add wind chakra to the rasengan and had invented 'Wind Style: Rasengan' and 'Wind Style: Rasenshuriken'. She had managed to add lightning chakra too.
"What's the matter"-asked Naruko sleepily
"Akatsuki has taken over Sunagakure, we need to go and save our spies"-said Jiraiya and Naruko got up immediately
"How"-she asked
" 'He' controls Gaara and the Council"-said Jiraiya, his voice grimm. Naruko narrowed her eyes and nodded. She got dressed and took her black mask.

She wore black sandal-boots that reached her thighs, red gloves that reached her elbows, black tight shorts that showed her thighs and a red sleeveless, turtleneck belly shirt that showed her tanned belly and navel which had a pierce with a diamond in the shape of a tear hanging. She put her mask on and did her hair in two high pigtails. Her hair reached her knees and had red highlights. She wore her forehead protector on her left thigh and a ninja pouch in her right. She got out of the tent and made a shadow clone to take all the things as she and Jiraiya ran toward Suna.
They arrived in Suna after a day and what they saw shocked them. The village isolated. Ninjas and ANBU patrolled every street every thirty minutes. They barely entered the village. As they hid in a dark alley they heard some ninjas tell each other for some intruders in the village and Jiraiya cursed under his breath. He saw at Naruko who had her mask on and told her to go and dispell the genjutsu Gaara was under. She nodded and ran away as Jiraiya draw attention to himself.
Naruko entered the office and saw Gaara work on some papers. She took out a kunai but didn't have time to attack as she had to dodge a volley of needles. She looked at the corner and saw Kankuro smirk.
"Kankuro what the hell"-said Naruko and he smiled as he attacked Naruko with his puppet. Gaara sent a wave of sand at Naruko to catch her but she dodged it.
"The hell"-said Naruko and used 'Odama Rasengan' to blow the ceiling and jumped in the roof. Gaara soon followed and sent a volley of sand shurikens at Naruko. She narrowed her eyes and dodged every attack. She unsealed her katana and coated it in fire. She ran at Gaara in full speed but Gaara's sand was faster and blocked the swing. Naruko jumped back and sent a huge red fireball at Gaara but he used his sand to protect himself. Soon Kankuro came with six ANBU and ten jonins.
"Where the hell is Temari"-asked Naruko and Kankuro's smirk fell
"Temari"-he asked and frowned. Naruko scolded herself as she understood that 'he' didn't knew about Temari. She ran at the jonins and fought swinging her sword. A jonin threw a kunai with an explosive note in it and Naruko caught the kunai, detached the explosive seal and threw the kunai at the ninja who threw it as she placed the explosive note in a jonin back. The kunai impaled the ninja in the middle of his eyes and the note exploded killing three other jonin. An ANBU charged at Naruko with a sword as the other sent wind bullets at her. She blocked the swing and jumped back. As she landed four golden chakra chains emerged from her back and impaled four shocked jonins. Gaara sent a wave of sand at Naruko and he shunshined away appearing behind a jonin and beheaded him. Three ANBU sent three fireballs at Naruko and covered her in flames. When the flames died down Gaara frowned ad he saw that Naruko had formed a cocoon with her chakra chains. Six Narukos attacked the ANBU as another one thrusted her katana through the last jonin's heart. The Naruko covered in chains attacked Kankuro who summoned ten puppets and attacked her with kunais, shurikens, needles, fire blasts and wind blasts. More ninjas came and Naruko cursed under her breath. She used a clone and formed 'Wind Style: Rasenshuriken'. She threw it at Kankuro's puppets and the technique expanded in a massive ball of millions of molecular wind blades that destroyed the puppets into dust. More Narukos formed wind, fire and lightning rasengans and attacked the upcoming ninjas. The real Naruko ran away as her clones caused havoc. She had to find Jiraiya and then Temari. She turned in an alley and saw Jiraiya kill a shinobi as Temari finished the other. She smiled and then jumped away as a wave of sand attacked her. Gaara had followed her and had dozens of ninjas. She cursed as she, Temari and Jiraiya were stuck, the alley was a dead-end. She activated her EMS and looked at Gaara as she formed her golden Susano'o.
"Yasaka Magatama"-said Naruko and the Susano'o formed three golden magatamas connected with an orange electricity and threw it to her enemies. Gaara quickly summoned a wall of sand and a huge explosion which destroyed all the buildings around and killed several ninjas happened. Gaara looked around for any sign of Naruko and cursed as he didn't saw her. He ordered his ninjas to go and look for her.
Next day Naruko, Temari and Jiraiya were resting inside the borders of the Fire County.
"Thanks"-said Temari
"No problem. When did 'he' compelled Kankuro"-asked Naruko.
"One day before you arrived. I barely escaped"-said Temari and Naruko nodded
"Naruko look her mind"-said Jiraiya and Naruko nodded as she activated her EMS.
"She's clear"-said Naruko after a while and Jiraiya nodded.
"We'll take her to Konoha and notify Obito with what happened"-said Jiraiya and got up to fix a tent. Naruko did two shadow clones and ordered them to raise a tent. The next day they headed toward Konoha. The trip lasted three days and Temari continued alone after Konoha came in view. Jiraiya had gave her a letter and had sent another one to Obito with his messenger toads.
After a week Naruko and Jiraiya were in Water Country to help the rebel side of Kiri against their Kage who was controlled by 'him'. In a puff of smoke a messenger toad appeared and gave Jiraiya and book. Jiraiya opened it and saw it was a Bingo Book with a note to see page ninety-nine. He opened the page and cursed loudly Naruko approached him and saw what he was reading.
