My name is (Y/N), and I'm pretty happy with my life. I just wish I saw their faces again... Especially Neymar’s. Neymar and Oscar were my childhood friends since I was about the age of three. Our parents became good friends, and I'd spend nearly my whole time with them.
Over the years as I was nearly ten years old, I grew very fond of Neymar.. as in, I had feelings for him. He was my crush. —He still is, actually. As years and years passed, I became more serious about my feelings as I was maturing and they became more literal. He was a rascal at times. A cheeky little bugger. He always put a smile on my face even if it was unintentional. Neymar and Oscar would protect me over anything, but the downfall was, I was unable to see Neymar feel the same way about me the way I feel for him, —well, I sure didn't think so.
My family moved to Barcelona in Spain when I was seven years old. I’ve been living here ever since, and I love being here. I’m now twenty years old and I’m employed as a manager for my retail store.
When I turned fourteen, I got my first cellphone and so I was able to get Neymar’s number, since we would talk over the home phone. Same applied with Oscar. It's how we kept in touch. I also see them both on TV usually, whether it’s for Brazil or their clubs. Though... Neymar had left Santos last year, I think, but I have no knowledge as to where he transferred to.
I felt lucky to have known such youthful legends from childhood. I felt blessed to have them both, and to see them playing football at the professional level they’re at now, I’m beyond proud and I admire their achievements oh-so much.
I remember how Neymar and Oscar would make me play street football with them, 1v2. I’d usually be on my own, I’d usually end up losing.... But anyways, in a few days I will be moving back to Brazil, and that means....
I’ll be able to see their faces again!
After all these years that had separated us, and I’m STOKED!
