hello everyone, and welcome to love island! before we get started, it's necessary to establish some ground rules that everyone is expected to follow.

general rules: 1) please be respectful to everyone here. keep in mind that this is all meant to be fun, and we're all people playing parts. if you have a problem with someone personally, you should work it out with that person or come to me.
2) while this is love island and characters will be in romantic relationships, anything that would not be approved by the wattpad guidelines must be taken to pm. i understand if you want to take it further with your relationship, but out of deference for those uncomfortable and for the sake of not wanting the book to be taken down, please take it to pm.
3) i understand if you cuss occasionally but please don't make it your vocabulary and any language whatsoever must be censored.
4) use brackets of some sort -() // {} [] || \\- when you are talking out of character.
roleplay-specific rules:
1) you must wear your mic at all times except when you're in the water and when you go to bed.
2) your character can be rude to others and cause drama, so long as it's not a personal attack on the person playing the character.
3) no magic or supernatural abilities. the logic of the universe we're playing in is that of the actual world, therefore you cannot defy the laws of nature, you're not all knowing, etc.
4) characters may not engage in random violence. on a reality show, you can't go beating people up or killing them. you can yell and scream at each other to your heart's content, but if anyone lays a hand on someone else, they would be removed from the villa.
5) if you are selected to be in a couple at a recoupling, you can't change your couple until the next recoupling or unless everyone is suddenly made single. you can cheat on your partner, if you so choose, but that may not go over well. also, if you're eliminated, you must comply. as previously stated, there's a possibility you can join the game again as a different islander later on, so be a good sport and don't take the elimination personally.
6) please use 3rd person and a semi-detailed response |absolutely no one liners!| your character can speak however you want, but try to write legibly enough that people understand what your character is saying or doing.
7) please, please, please, DO NOT TAKE THINGS THAT HAPPEN IN THE ROLEPLAY PERSONALLY. please do not fight out of character about something that happened in the roleplay. please do not start drama out of character, that's just going to disturb everyone else and ruin the fun.
8) lastly here are the passwords you will need to be able to join and an explanation for why these are important.
| password n.i : tag four people | important because : this roleplay will fail if we don't have enough people to join so please tag tag tag! additional : there will be a tag page! person to tag the most people is safe from the first dumping and will get to go on the first date with the person of their choosing!
| password n.ii : have you followed the instagram? | important because : this will pretty much be the rps social media platform. the villa layout is on the ig, your islanders' official profiles will be there, you'll vote there, and you'll be submitting information needed for the games there. it's just important, please go follow it
