UA's Exam

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEE-

My hand slapped around lazily until I found the source of obnoxious beeping, and stopped its suffering.

I grabbed my phone and sleepily pried open one eye to look at the time. I groan and plop my phone back on the bedside table. My eyes slowly closed again and I wrapped myself deeper into the soft blankets.

It was far too early in the morning to even think about existing. Why did I set my alarm so early in the first place?

My groggy mind wandered for a while as if it were solving the mysteries of the world.

Did I have a morning run with Katsuki? No.

Fight anyone for a morning shower? No, not that either.

Early morning study session for school? Not quite, school?

School.

Highschool.

Exams.

The Exams! Oh my god, the exams!

My eyes shoot open and I scramble out of bed and fall to the floor, "Damned blankets trapping me in their fluffy warmth."

The blankets drag across the floor still tangled on my ankle, almost pleading me to come back and sleep for another hour.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean it, I'll see you again tonight," I say unraveling myself from its grasp and shutting the door behind me.

I take a quick shower and change into some comfortable clothes as well as pack a bag of workout attire. After changing I make my way out into the kitchen and start preparing breakfast for everyone.

Mom was the first to emerge, "Good Morning sweetie! How did you sleep?"

"Morning, sleep was good," I mumble, still inhabiting the morning daze. I pass her a waffle and wave her towards the table. "There's syrup and butter on the table."

I made another two waffles and left one in the kitchen for whenever Izuku emerges from his cave.

After a lengthy conversation with mom about exams, Izuku finally decided to arrive.

With great energy, he slid into the kitchen completely ignoring the waffle on the counter and opened the fridge, and grabbed ingredients to make himself breakfast.

He scrambled some eggs and made some toast before sitting down at the table.

"Good morning honey, how did you sleep?" Mom asked before I had a chance to open my mouth.

Whatever, it's fine, maybe he didn't want a waffle. I'll just eat it, I'm extra hungry anyways. I stuff another angry bite into my mouth while listening to their conversation.

"Do you think you're ready for the exam? Do you have everything you need packed? Lunch, some spare clothes?" I chuckle at Izuku getting barraged by questions and stand to clean Mom and I's plates.

No need to grab Izuku's since he can take care of his own damn self. I head to my room quickly and grab my bag then return to the kitchen to find a snack to take with me for lunch.

I grab a couple of apples, a container of leftovers from the night before, and toss in a few Jolly Ranchers.

"Alright mom, I'm going to head out, I have everything I need. Don't worry! I'll see you tonight! Love you!" I addressed all her questions before she could ask them and make my way to the front door.

She rushes over to the door and pulls me into a quick hug, "Stay safe sweetie and good luck! I love you." I return the hug and make my way out the door.
