Rescue

(YO ITS BEEN ELEVEN CHAPTERS SINCE CHLOROFORM- UMMMMMM.)

"You know where they're holding Momo?" August gasped over the phone. Murielle explained everything to him while she was working on getting a team together. They didn't need a warrant because of the probable cause, but it'd be better to get one.

If there wasn't a big fight and they could easily grab Momo and get out, that'd be best. Trying to arrest as many villains as possible would be great as well!

Murielle was talking to August about who she wanted on the team. He gave her a few suggestions. She wanted her brother in law on the team, obviously.

Using the hero network, Murielle began contacting people. Endeavor was invested on stopping the League so he was already volunteering to go.

Asking for a meeting room, she began discussing things with Endeavor and Tenshi. She put her blindfold back on and began speaking with people.

Only the next day, Murielle was in a meeting hall, talking with Tsukauchi and Endeavor. Endeavor was looking at the blindfold over her eyes.

"You're actually going into a warehouse with a blindfold on?"

"I believe I'm supposed to be part of the rescue, not arrest. My quirk is not meant to fight. I'll be with the Pussycats most likely."

"That makes more sense. But still, you can see?" He asked. She nodded. She took it off and showed the light fabric. It only had to hide her eye color changes. She added it when she saw Shota use the strategy for the first time. It was pretty smart. And it didn't let the criminals see the utter fear or distress in her eyes.

She put the blindfold on as the team she requested walked into the room. Murielle walked to the front of the room and sat in the head desk. Tenshi stood next to her, in front of the board. (Never mentioned it- Tenshi is her sidekick.)

Taking a seat, sidekicks spoke with their heroes for a quick second before Murielle cleared her throat. Everyone immediately shut up.

"As insane as it may sound, I would wish to attack the League today or in the close future. Momo Yaoyorozu, as everyone knows, has the ability to make things out of her fat cells. That was the reason they kidnapped her." Murielle announced.

A sidekick spoke up, "Doesn't that mean she's being fed and not mistreated?"

"She has been treated well but she had been forced to make support items and weapons for the League. We have our warrant ready and we'll go in and fight."

"This is quite sloppy. You're working off pure emotion and it could lead to someone's death."

Murielle stopped and glared at Endeavor. He had the nerve-

"You raised your kids off of emotion." She retorted and continued. He was right but she didn't want to listen. She was the Elon Musk of Bad Ideas and she still had a hero license. It was honestly a surprise-

They discussed topics and teams for only a few hours before gearing up and meeting up at Murielle's agency.

"He-" the second Shoto walked in, Momo hugged him. She felt attached somehow. Like she was truly in love with Shoto and not whatever this 'Stockholm syndrome' was.

"You're acting weird. What's up?" He laughed. She let go and poked his nose. She didn't look cute while she did it, well she did. She always looked cute. She jabbed his nose.

"I'm not weird!"

"You ran up to me and hugged me. Thats pretty weird. Anyways, I don't know why you're still here. You've done everything." He said. He looked confused but looked around. "Yeah, I really don't understand that." He sighed.

Momo shrugged. She didn't really want to leave. It didn't matter anymore.

"Hey, I got you something." He said with a smile. He reached into his jacket and pulled out a bunch of roses. "Your mom didn't like the one I gave her. I know you would." He left out a few details. She picked it up and put one in her hair. "Yeah, I wouldn't do that." He said, pulling it out.

"That smelt metallic..." she said. "Wait-"

"Let's talk for a second." He tried to drop the topic. "What is your middle name? I don't have one but you should."

"My mom's a weeb. She named me 'Momo Shinobu Yaoyorozu'." She laughed. "You probably knew that already." She realized.

"I did. You're named after Shinobu Kocho? From Demon Slayer?" He was honestly surprised. The strong and intimidating French woman, Murielle, actually named her child after an anime character? It was understandable because Shinobu is best girl, but still.

Momo continued to talk with him. It was pretty cool. They did it every single day. It seemed like no one else had ever gone into the room. She was pretty sure Dabi stopped caring the second she had all of the things created. Toga hadn't given them any details, and Twice wasn't around. Only Spinner, Shigaraki, Shoto, and Dabi...

As the day went on, Momo was fed rice and ate next to Shoto. She didn't talk when she ate and she ate properly. Momo was as quiet as a mouse and didn't say anything.

Finally when she finished, she faced Shoto and they had an awkward staring contest before he brought something up.

"Are you really in love with me?" He asked. Momo gave an innocent smile and took his calloused hands. They were rough and had a few burns. Momo nodded for a second before leaning in for a kiss.

Shoto was red as he did the same thing. It wasn't actual love and he felt bad. It was her feeling sympathy for him. Most likely nothing more.

(Next week, the next chapter will make sense to anime watchers. It's just a warning.)

They got closer and closer before, without interruption, they kissed. It was amazing for both of them. It wasn't forced but deep down, Shoto knew it wasn't right. He had morals that told him this was wrong.

All of a sudden, there was sounds of screaming.

Momo pulled away as Shoto stood up and dragged her up as well. She blinked as she realized what the screams were.

"Come out with your hands up and no one will get hurt!" It was an obvious lie, but her mother was there. That was her mother's voice. As if it were on cue, a bunch of nomus were warped into the room. It was the same thing that happened at during Bakugo's rescue.

They were there to separate Momo and Shoto...

This was going to get messy.

(Ok, Kurogiri didn't warp the nomus in. If you remember from the save Bakugo arc, the nomus appeared from black warps. That's what happened. There's a part of next weeks episode that's gonna be really important btw.
