(ZOE'S P.O.V)
When I arrive to Joe's flat he opens the door with a bright smile. I missed seeing him smile so much! I wonder what made him so happy
"Someone is happy today"
"Well someone got over his ex today"
"Oh Joseph I'm so glad"
I hug him before I continue
"So, did anything today?"
his face fell. alright worried sister mode activated
"What is it Joe?"
he thought for a moment before answering
"I saw a friend today and he was not looking well, I kind of tried intervening but he got upset and told me to piss off"
oh the last thing he needed now
"Don't worry, some people don't like being pushed for answers. he just needs some time, I'm sure you'll be alright. the both of you"
he smiled sadly and hugged me
"thank you Zoe, I truly do not know what would I do without you"
his words warmed my heart
"Don't worry, I will always look out for my baby brother"
we separated and I clapped my hands together
"Well get up, I'm not leaving you now,we're going out for ice-cream aka world's best comforter"
he scoffed
"you give him a run for his money"
He's making jokes, a grate sign, let's go
