The next morning, Lacey woke up to see me smiling at her. "Morning, Macey honey." I said.
"Daniel, Darling." She kissed me as we sat up in bed. "So, what's the plan for today?" She asked.
"Well, we'll be meeting Dana and Summer for breakfast then we'll be coming back here to pack and head to the next event." I said with a grin.
"Why not go to your place in Colorado?" Lacey asked.
"Well, because we are to build up our feuds for after Survivor Series and heading into TLC." I kissed her before getting up and going into the bathroom as a knock came to the door.
"Coming." Lacey said as she walked over to the door and looked through the peephole and saw Dana and Summer. Then opened the door and let them in. "Hey, guys." Lacey greeted.
"Hey, momma." Summer smiled.
"Hey, sweetie." Lacey replied. "Did you have a fun time with Aunt Dana?" She asked her daughter.
"Yes, momma." Summer replied.
"Yeah, Summer was a perfect little lady. And the model boarder." Dana said. "Where's Dan?" Dana asked.
"I'm sure he's in the shower right now." Lacey started.
"Actually I was." I said coming out of the bathroom with a cloud of steam following me. My jeans on but my shirt was over my shoulder. "Danny." Summer cheered as she ran to me and I picked her up.
"Hey, shortcake." I kissed Summers cheek making her giggle and grin. Dana smiled as Lacey grinned at the picture in front of her. "So did you have fun with Dana?"
"Yes I did." She replied.
"Good." I smiled as she hugged my neck. "And I think you're mom has something to tell you." Summer looked to Lacey.
"Well, sweetie. Daniel and I are officially dating." Summer looked at me and smiled wider and hugged my neck. Lacey approached me and kissed me and once Summer let go of my neck and Lacey kissed her cheek.
"You guys definitely are a cute couple and with Summer. You look like the ideal family." Dana grinned.
"Well, Lacey honey. Why don't you get your shower and I'll watch over Summer until you get out of the shower, then we can go out for breakfast and head to the next event." I I grinned.
"Okay darling. Now you be a good girl sweetie." Lacey went to her luggage to get a change of clothes to change into after her shower. Dana, Summer and I stayed in the living room. And talked about what me and Summer would do when Lacey is in the ring for the next few weeks. Dana suggested that I take Summer to ringside during Lacey's matches.
I actually liked the idea as did Summer, and after Lacey was done with her shower. She came out to the living area of the hotel room. Where Dana pitched the idea of me taking Summer through the audience and sit ar ringside during her matches. Lacey was on board with it. So after she grabbed her phone, clutch purse and a hat to wear outside. I just grabbed my fedora and phone/wallet case. Dana said she had other stuff to do before leaving for the next live event.
So it was just me, Lacey and Summer that went to breakfast. We all talked about what we were going to do for Thanksgiving at my place in Colorado. Summer was really looking forward to spending the Thanksgiving holiday with her prospective stepdad. But I don't think she was excited as Lacey was.
After breakfast, we returned to the hotel, packed up and headed to the next event.
Over the next few weeks, Lacey and I had a couple of singles matches to determine who would represent Smackdown at Survivor Series, plus the invasions of NXT, and once we earned our spots on the teams. The few days before Survivor Series Baron Corbin requested a rematch for his spot on the Mens Survivor Series team. Lacey was to go against Naomi. In a throwaway match.
That nights Smackdown was in Chicago, Illinois. And Lacey and Summer arrived in Chicago the night before and were in our locker room when Smackdown went on the air. My match was one of the first ones up tonight. When it was up, I crouched as Summer came up and hugged me. I smiled at this. And once I let her go. I stood up and Lacey came up, hugged and kissed me. "You be careful out there. Alright Dani darling?" Lacey asked.
"Yes, of course, Lacey honey." I smiled.
I headed to the gorilla and waited for my cue to head to the ring.
Once I heard my music hit the speakers, I headed out to the ring.
I high fived fans as I made my way to the ring. Once was in the ring, I took off my fedora, jacket, and vest and waited for the bell to ring to start the match.
Once the match started. I tore into Corbin. I didn't let up once.
