Amara's POV

To say I was shocked was an understatement the man who said once broke my heart was the the same man standing in front of me half naked and was about to share a bed  with me.

"What are you doing Damian "I asked giving him a weary look.

" What does it look like I'm joining my wife for bed" I let out a historical laugh .

"The same wife you left at the alter without a trace" I said raising a brow .

"What happened that day Amara was out of my control so let's not dwell on it now shall we ".

"He said joining me in comforter while turning off the lamp .

" Well I will not be sharing a bed with you so enjoy your sleep I'll be taking the couch ".

I said while lifting my pillow of the bed but before I could get off he grabbed my wrist .

" You will not do such a thing I am your husband and you and I will remain in this bed do I make myself clear Amara "he said giving me a death glare .

I just nod my head and turned around facing the other way of my room after that I felt him pull at my thick waist to him and also giving me a kiss on the cheek and saying "good night amore" with that I went into a peaceful slubber with my husband holding tightly on to me.

I woke up to an empty bed no surprise there with that I went to the the bathroom to do my morning routine  after I was done with my shower I wrapped a towel around me and went back to my room to get dressed only to find Damien sitting on my bed .

"What are you still doing here I thought you had left already "I said while trying to cover myself from him .

" Should I remind you that we leave for italy this morning " he said looking at as if I was the last meal it made me feel somewhat uncomfortable with him looking at my body .

"I really thought you joking about that why would you want me after all this years , I  really think you should have signed those divorce papers I sent to your family " I said not looking at him l felt him stepping closer  to me and that made me really nervous "What do you think you doing " I said while stepping backwards that was until I hit the wall behind me he moved to the point where he caged me between the wall and him "Well that's the problem my dear Amara because you my dear wife belong to me and I mean all of you belong to me do you understand what I'm saying to you amore " he said gripping my waist giving me a passionate kiss which almost made me drop my towel  after that he let me go and he said "Now do us both a favour and put on some clothes we leave in an hour " He said before he left the room so I could change.
