The last two weeks had been nearly impossible for Katsuki, but as he had promised, he was changing, well he was trying. Rome wasn't built in a day.

He had started off with simple 'good mornings' and 'good byes', but he soon found that it wasn't enough for him. He'd see the Deku's cute smile or bubbly pink cheeks every time he greeted him or said bye, and it dazzled him, he was addicted.

So, he started doing much more, he began opening the door for the boy, he helped him in class and watched out for him when he wasn't looking. That was when he started noticing the strange behavior one icyhot teen was having towards the Deku.

He'd notice how he would wait for Midoriya for lunch or after school. How he'd always open the door for the boy and insisted he walk through first. 'Whoopty fucking doo! What a gentleman.' He thought one day as Midoriya blushed at the icy bastard's actions.

He had some sort of suspicion of what was going on, though he didn't want to accept it, he wasn't ready for it, considering he was trying to make things right with the nerd.

So far, things were going well for Katsuki, he felt like he was advancing in some way, he knew he would never be able to make up for so many years of suffering he had caused the kid, but he'd try his hardest.

As the days went by, it got easier and easier for him to do what he was doing, plus, getting to see the nerd smile sure was worth it, he strived to get the boy to smile, it was his new goal in life, right there next to being the number one hero.

That one fateful Friday afternoon, he decided to stay behind and wait for the nerd to see what he was up to with the peppermint bastard he despised so much, so, he waited behind a big black pine tree outside of school grounds. He stood there for about 10 minutes until he saw the nerd walking out the front gates with Todoroki, hands intertwined.

He nearly blew up right there, balling his fist he tried to calm down as he walked after them. "What's going on nerd..." he said to himself as he trailed behind them, soon, they had made it to the subway station and boarded one of the wagons in the middle. Katsuki barely made in time to get into the one next to theirs.

He made his way towards the back, letting the passengers shroud him from view, though he was still able to see the teen boys. "Where are you going nerd?" he softly whispered to himself.

He could see the green-headed boy pouting at the icyhot bastard, 'Cute nerd.' He thought, until that peppermint bastard poked one of Deku's cheek, "Touchy bitch, keep your hands to yourself." He said a tad bit louder this time, still not drawing anyone's attention to him.

Katsuki wanted to go over there and deck that peppermint bastard a good one right in the face but was reminded that Deku wouldn't approve of that behavior and tried to calm down as he took deep breaths, 'Do it for the nerd, do it for the nerd.' He repeated in his head, like a mantra.

Soon they were walking off the train and out of the metro station. Katsuki tried getting off, but the amount of people coming in wouldn't let him, there were too many, he wouldn't make it out in time, "Move damn it!" he screamed, not being able to make it out as the doors closed before his eyes.

"FUCK!" he screamed, scaring the passengers around him, who instantly made a small halo around the boy. Seething, he waited for the next stop and decided to head home. He was pissed, he hadn't been able to figure out what the hell the nerd and icyhot were up to.
