Dear readers,
As of yesterday quarantine has officialy been instated in Houston Texas; alot of resturaunts have closed, and the ones that are still open only use carry out and drive through, you can only really leave your house if you're going to the grocery store, or your job is concidered manditory; Though parks are still open (minus the playgrounds). social distancing has also been instated, so everyone must remain 6 feet apart. On top of that gatherings of more than ten people are prohibited, and you will be fined if cought.
As of today there are 69,049 known cases of covid-19 in the united states, and aproximatey 1,037 deaths.
My school has only officaly been closed for four days, they say it will be back in session on april 10, but i dont believe that. Several states have already shut down school for the rest of the year which i feel is for the best, most people in the U.S. are undermining what is happening right now, but the fact of the matter is we are following in the foot steps of Italy with our growth and infection rate.
We have started online school this week, and suprisingly it's not as bad as i origionaly thought. I mostly just listen to music and drink coffee while i do dumb little assignments for my teachers; i don't have to wear pants, so thats a plus. Though i haven't spoken to anyone that's not the three people i live with in over a week, i haven't left my town home complex in a while, and i'm slowly but surely running out of things to do. I feel as though boredome will kill me before the virus does.
thats all for today, i will talk to you all tomorrowyour's truly
N.M.
ps: Im sorry if my spelling and puctuation is bad, but thats not really what im concerned about right now
