A Girl's Dream

Chapter 1 "First Day of School"

"I'm late!" Shouts Sierra, "it's my first day at my new school and I can't miss it." As I went to school there was a crowd of new people that I've never met before. I was obviously super nervous to meet new people, especially because I heard Monica was going to be there. She's the popular mean girl. I've been stuck with her since middle school FOREVER and I can't bear to be with her for four more years. She even brought her little "minions" with her, Lacey and Maddy. I'm lucky enough to have my best friend "Molly" there, she's been with me through thick and thin, so I think I can last a couple of weeks. Of course, things didn't go as planned. It was the time for us to choose an after school club that we have to stick with for the rest of the school year. As per usual, I chose
book club, but guess who decided to show up... Monica, up you guessed it. Monica NEVER reads books but I'm pretty sure the only reason she went for book club was to annoy the heck out of me. During book club, it was time to pick our partners to stay with for the rest of the school year. Dissapointly, we were not allowed to pick our own partners, supposably to get to know new people. My name got raffled out, but... Monica also got picked out to be my partner. I am in misery. On the first day of the book club, we were assigned to be in an escape room. We had to use clues from multiple famous books and resource our clues to escape the room. I got locked in with Monica. She would never agree with me nor listen to me. It was such a struggle, not even halfway through she decided to sit down and I had to do all of the work. Thankfully after a long day, I could FINALLY rest. I never thought that school would be such a struggle for me, especially because I have been known to be the top student in the whole school every year. I went home, took a nap, and could finally be happy until the next day...
