Sidharth had been fuming with anger and wasn't going to let his sister get away with what prank she had pulled out on him. His mind had been working in all directions to come up with something that would teach his sister a lesson for messing with him. He wanted his prank to be as original as ever.
On the other hand, Sidharth's words wouldn't leave Anushka's mind . She knew deep inside that what she had done would have repercussions. But she didn't have any other way around it, except just being very careful. From the time she had played that prank, she had always managed to steer clear away from her brother.
Mahi and Anushka were sitting on Mahi's four poster bed, when Mahi asked her " So... Sid hasn't still done any possible damage to you? I'm surprised! You better be careful .That guy is not going to give up so soon."
"I know, I've been trying to avoid him by being outside home since the last three days, but I don't know how long it is going to last," sighed Anushka.
"Anyways, I have an appointment for my hair spa this Saturday; I hope it helps me calm down and that I don't overthink so much that it drives me to insanity."
Anushka was a perfect example of a professional beauty freak. Regular visits to the salon for spas was a part of her routine. She was obsessed with her hair and was always updated about the various beauty trends.
Sidharth had been eavesdropping; and now, he had the perfect plan in mind to mess with his sister. A strange kind of excitement filled him. But for his plan to work he needed to be one step ahead of Anushka. For which, he would have to be well informed of where she was headed to for her spa and when.
That night at the dinner table Sidharth was setting his plan into action.
"So... Anu, you haven't gone to the salon in a while. Are you alright? You never miss your visits to the salon" said Sidharth, acting all concerned.
"I'm alright, you tell me are you okay? So much concern for me. I'm highly touched," commented Anushka sarcastically.
"I was just asking out of concern. You don't have to be so mean!"
"Fine!" Anushka said with a bit of suspicion. She knew her brother very well and could tell when there was something cooking up inside his mind.
Saturday came soon and Sidharth could barely control his excitement. He had the whole plan laid out. Now he had to wait.
Anushka came rushing out of her house. She was running late, as usual, for her appointment.
"Oh damn my life! I'm already late and now my car!" Anushka wailed. Sidharth had purposefully convinced their father to get Anushka's car a new colour, so he could execute his plan.
"Hey! Wassup Anu? Why are you being so overdramatic?Dad sent your car for servicing. Is that so hard to digest?" Sidharth said acting all clueless.
"That is none of your business. I have to go to the salon and I don't have my car. How do I go?" said a frustrated looking Anushka.
"Chill Anu. Why fear when Sid is here? Come on, I'll drop you off."
"You will drop me on your bike? Are you seriously alright Sid? Since when did you become so helpful and considerate?"
"Oh God Anu! I'm perfectly alright. Can't I just help my sister? Now, are you coming or not?
"I am." Anushka was completely sure that something was seriously off about her brother. She made a mental note to ask Vihaan and Ayaan about it later.
The whole ride Anushka kept on looking out for signs that Sidharth would let something slip, but Sidharth was on guard and wasn't going to let anything spoil his prank.
"What do you do in that salon that takes you a century?"
"If that is the case, then why don't you come in and see for yourself," answered Anushka, annoyingly.
"Sure! I'll write a thesis on how you waste your time," retorted Sidharth.
One hour had passed by since they got into the salon. And Sidharth was getting on his last nerves. Nothing had been more painful in life than this. But deep down, he knew why he had signed up for this.
"Ahhhhhhhhhh!" A painful scream brought the salon's peace crumbling down. That voice belonged to Anushka. She was standing in front of the mirror, her previously brown hair now tinted a dark neon shade of pink! She was furious as hell and knew who was behind this all.
On the other hand, Sidharth couldn't believe his joy; he was rolling in laughter and soon was being chased by a very angry looking Anushka. And he knew well to not mess with her when she was pissed. So out he ran for his dear life.
